works well with all jigs from a similar European grinder
Slow grinding wheel and leather wheel-strop enable quality sharpening of woodworking tools, household knives and garden tools.

It is fine for what it is but after using the Tormek and adding all the attachments needed for my turning tools I wish I would have bought the Rikon slow speed grinder or Tormek T4. Both are much higher in quality and I have the exact same amount of money invested, possibly more, that I would have if I had bought the Rikon or Tormek.

about that wobble
They warn you to tolerate some wobble in the instructions.I set up a dial indicator touching the outermost end of the spindle without the stone installed and it deviated no more than 0.001". If my math is right that would, with a perfect stone, translate to about 0.0025" horizontal wobble at the edge of the stone --not even visible. But with the no-name stone attached the wobble I actually get is 0.01" horizontal and 0.02" vertical. There is some play between the spindle and the hole in the stone, which could be contributing. Perhaps a name brand stone would be better?(PS. I didn't measure with power on, just hand turning. Maybe it evens out when running. I didn't want to grind my dial indicator.)

Parts not available!
I bought this unit in November 2018, Have used less than two hours! The drive wheel failed and there are no parts available, the unit is obsolete and the factory will not help. Actually their customer service is useless.

Nice Grinder
My husband has taken up knifemaking. This little grinder fit into his little workshop perfectly, and has been one of his favorite purchases! He even sharpens my household knives and scissors with it! Love it!

Save for a Tormek
I bought this machine to try to save a few bucks, since the real machine by tormek is more expensive. After having this guy for a couple weeks, and having about 15-20 hours behind the machine, I really wish i had sucked it up and bought a tormek. This grizzly wheel wobbles badly, the jig support is not always level, leaving you with possibly crooked blades, and the motor has now gotten much more noisy than when I first got it. It works, but not at a professional level

Perfect grinder
This was a easy to get ready to use grinder and works just as good as the more expensive one on the market.

It’s good. Defiantly need to use the tormek diamond wheel trueing tool. Grizzly comes with a bad wobble. With tormek jigs though, I can make knives into razor blades.
