Does what it's supposed to do

It's really nice using this with my bamboo steamer. It fits on all my pots and pans. No issues so far with it; it does the job. I did give it 4 stars though because it did cut me; there are holes that surround the inner circle, and while I was hand washing it, it cut my finger like a cheese grater would. It sucked, but now I think I might just toss it in the dish washer from now on, or just be more cautious about it.

i used this the day after it arrived. It is perfect for protecting my bamboo steamer from heat and water damage and i LOVE it

The edges of the punched out holes were very very rough and did cut my hand when washing. Had a machine shop sand the edges down and now ok.

This steamer ring lets us use several different pot sizes with our bamboo steamer.

It would be better to be a little bit thicker

Not a very well thought design. No matter which way you place this, it collects condensation from the steam and provides no where for it to drip back into the pot. Instead, it drips all over the stove. The inside diameter should be angled inward to allow the excess condensation to return to the pot. Essentially a circular metal paperweight now. Disappointed.
