These are christmas gifts for my 7, 10 and 13 yo, so ive had them about a week and Ive been playing them to make sure they will be good for my kids. So far I love the smiger-naneki ukes. They tuned up easy the 1st day and have stayed close to tune after about the 3rd day. They seem well constructed for a entry level inexpensive uke. They came with some accessories including a decent tuner with and extra battery and an extra set of aquila branded strings. The bag is nothing more then a dust cover but I guess it will serve its purpose, although I imagine we will always have these out playing them so it won't be needed. I said that I also ordered a Donner (only because my son wanted black and I didnt see any in stock at the time), well the Donnor had some issues with a tuner peg not being tight enouph as well as just not sounding as good and playing as smooth as the naneki, so after a week I've already returned the Donnor. So this morning I went ahead and ordered two more of these Naneki ukes...one in purple for myself and one in black for my son. (The black says it wont be shipped till January but I'm crossing my fingers it will come before Christmas...we shall see what happens).Anyway, I really like these little soprano ukes and I think they are a great value for $30.Update: received my purple uke this week and I LOVE IT!😍 I cant say enouph good things about these. I've been playing each one for a little daily and they just keep sounding better each time.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The Naneki NA-10 is the perfect ukulele set for the aspiring ukulele player. But, it also holds its own very well for the intermediate to advanced player. A fantastic set!First off, the ukulele itself has great action (perfect for beginning and advanced fingers alike. It is comfortable to play up at the nut as well as up the neck. It comes with unbranded enclosed tuners which are solid and work very well. It tuned up quickly and held its tune. The construction looks solid and built without any flaws. Frets are smooth down the neck and the woods on the fingerboard and bridge are well hydrated. It has both side markers and fingerboard markers. On a personal note, cosmetically speaking, I absolutely LOVE the headstock! The printed design is very classy. I got the red model and it’s gorgeous!The bundle comes with very essential extras. Tuner(which works very well), cleaning cloth to get rid of those pesky fingerprints on that beautiful red finish. An extra set of Smiger strings, a quick start guide with excellent, helpful information. Also included are rubber fingertips that maybe useful to beginners fingers until they build their callouses. Finally, a nice drawstring bag to carry you ukulele around.All and all, I highly recommended this ukulele, it’s a solid value. You won’t be disappointed!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This ukulele is pretty fantastic. Easily one of the best beginner models I have played. I love almost everything about it.First, the color is fantastic. Purple is my favorite color. This ukuleke also comes in seven other colors if purple is not for you.Second, it is well set up right out of the box. The strings are a good quality and the string height is just where it should be. This soprano is easy to play with no buzzing. The edges of the frets are nice and smooth.Third, the accessory kit gives you more than you need to get started. A tuner is a must and the book is well done. It does come with fingertip guards that I will not be using and I imagine they would make this ukuleke harder to play. You may or may not want to use the picks. Traditionally they are not used.The only thing I would change is the bag. It is sufficient for lugging the ukuleke around but does not offer much protection. But for the price, I understand why you don't get a padded case.Overall, this ukuleke is a great buy for the beginner or intermediate player who wants a uke in a fun color.

I own many ukuleles, several of which are high end and will not buy one that has poor sound quality. This little ukulele has great sustain and is very pleasant to the ear. It came with a glossy flawless finish and bright vibrant color. This is a bargain for the price. I highly recommend this for a beginner or collector that wants to add a unique instrument to their collection.

Mine came with some flaws in the finish and the actual paint of the headstock is messy and not lined up....which totally bothers me as I am actually an artist. The fret wires are nice and smooth which is a big plus but there are no strap buttons. Thats disappointing to me as I hate those wrap around straps for ukes. The tuners seem nice enough but my uke is not holding tune up the fret board and I have been playing it for multiple weeks. This uke has a pretty loud voice ...considering it's a laminate...but I know the aquila strings help with that.Again...if you are looking to gift a child with there first uke...this is a good option....or if you just want to grab a uke to take on vacation.Again...it's not earth shattering and it's not terrible...3 out of 5

Bought this for my neice's 7th Birthday. The color was lovely and it's a good sized instrument for a young beginner. Her parents took the time to tune it properly and tell me they are quite pleased with the sound. She has been excited to learn and is doing well with it. Very happy with this purchase and recommend it.
