Sinus-Max Liquid Gels for Day and Night, 24 Count

This is the best medicine available for congestion/ stuffy nose when i have a cold in my opinion. The medicine makes it seem as if I no longer have a cold while it's working until it wears off. Definitely recommended.

I have the worst sinus pressure. Even though I do nasal sprays and allergy medications, this contains gualfenisen which keeps me moving and dries me up.

I really hate it when companies feel they need to use different labels for the same product in order to target different potential markets. In this case it worked in my favor though. This Sinus Max has the EXACT SAME ACTIVE INGREDIENTS as the Fast Max product both by Mucinex. So why am I happy? Well this box cost me only $13.04 while the Fast Max would have cost me $15.24 for the exact same thing. Still, I'm a little disappointed that they couldn't figure out a way to name the product in a way that communicated it did cold and flu and sinus all at once, instead of trying to dupe us. Whatever, the meds work so I'll let it slide...this time. So the Day use pills don't make you tired, do relieve stuffiness, sinus headaches, and have an expectorant(which I expect from something with the name Mucinex) the night time pills, will help you sleep, get rid of sinus headaches, and reduce stuffiness, however there is no expectorant in them. Mildly disappointing but oddly my sinuses did still drain at night, so the end result was the same. Overall, this medication worked great to relieve my sinus pain and worked great on a standard cold as well, plus it cost less. A win/win for me.

First off, i would like to say, that this is the regular Mucinex. Not the Mucinex DM. The main ingredient in Mucinex is: guaifenesin, which is an expectorant to help get rid of phlegm & build up. The DM ( which is most popular ) has an additional ingredient of dextromethorphan, which is a cough suppressant as well. People with heart disease, blood thinners, anti depressants, etc. should not take the DM version. That is why I purchased this version of Mucinex. These gels are easy to swallow & work fairly quickly. This package comes with night & day versions. So you will get drowsy with the nighttime one. I usually need a few dosages to really clear up my sinuses, but it does work pretty quickly for most people. It helps loosen the phlegm as well as knock out sinus headaches. I highly recommend when other brands didn't work as well in relieving the phlegm.
