Lotus pure organics. Natural Lipstick - Sheer Peach Glitter

This product WAS truly THE BEST, completely fabulous and a genuine rare find (key word "WAS"); it was 100% USDA Certified Organic, and had the USDA logo on their packaging, until recently when they changed their product ingredients. It is no longer 100% Organic, but now listed as "100% Organic and Natural Ingredients" (which let's face it, "natural" does not really mean much, as there are many poisons or things that you should not ingest that are "natural"- not to mention more than a little bit misleading since placing the word Organic after 100% make one think it is just 100% Organic, which it is not). Lipsticks that are kind-of, sort-of, mostly organic are dime-a-dozen. There are tons of companies that offer the classic "organic AND Natural" mix- lots of great organic ingredients intermixed with stuff you really should not use, or definitely must avoid. They not only took out several ingredients that were certified organic and now use the non-organic version of the ingredient (ie, turmeric powder, carnuba wax) but they also added additional ingredients that were not previously used (ie. titanium dioxide, iron oxides). They could have at least used a non-GMO Vitamin E when they decided to eliminate some ingredients and add it in their place. {The photos below show the New version at the bottom of each of the photos, and the Old version is at the top of the photos- just as an example. The specific color used for the photo example is Spice, but I found this same situation with their other colors} I had previously bought dozens of this brand- and it was also bought for my tween and teen daughters. They had great colors (for adults and teens), went on great, stayed on, loads of compliments. The original was a 5 star plus product. Truly LOVED it! Sadly, I will now have to find a new company.

This lipstick feels wonderful to use and wears well. The company is terrific to work with too. A previous one of these (different shade; Rose) broke after about 4 uses. The salesperson answered my request for another within one day, as well as sending out a shade darker for me. She even had sent a replacement original color by mistake, then a day later sent the shade I wanted. So no question this company works with you right away with the intent to make it right. Will absolutely buy again. With this replacement one there's been no breakage; still works fine after a few weeks. Perhaps some are just weaker than others but you will be taken care of in case there's an issue. Lovely shade. Thank you!*******Got my third one recently. I didn't run out; just need them handy in several places. As before, fast service (yes, correct color) and I'm still loving the lipstick. I tried my old Revlon stick some weeks ago to see/feel the difference and it now has a very dry feel with a chemical taste. Used that brand mostly, for decades.

In my quest to find lipstick that is nontoxic, I stumbled across Lotus Organics. I love this lipstick!!!Let me say that the description, "3 bright colors," is completely inaccurate. I'll go color by color:Rosebud: light and neutral. Perfect color to wear with khaki or off-white. NOT BRIGHT at all.Pop Pink: light. Really light. It's one of those pinks that are almost too light with too much white undertones to wear by itself. I put it on and instantly apply a darker lip gloss. NOT BRIGHT at all.Class Red: THIS IS THE PERFECT RED LIPSTICK. It is perfect in every way. It is a show-stopper, and it is beautiful. I will NEVER buy another red. It's a waste of time to even look. This is it.

This is a beautiful colour. It goes on smoothly and is flattering if you have blonde hair, like I do. It even has a wonderful fragrant smell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This lipstick is also moisturizing. It isnt overly oily, so that your lips stay glossy. It seems to absorb and leave a deep, rich color behind.It last very very long, same as all major brands + it’s almost 100% organic, so I’m safe for my health!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I don't normally like using lipsticks, because essentially you end up eating the makeup. I feel a lot better knowing that these ingredients are almost entirely organic and natural.I have been interested in natural makeup for a while, and I was worried that maybe this lipstick wouldn't be able to perform as some of the other, drugstore ones that I was use to. However, I am happy and pleased to report that this an extremely high quality, high-performance type of makeup. It stays on for many hours after being applied, even after eating and drinking!!

This lipstick is very nice and I am happy that it is lead free, etc. I initially purchased for my daughter so this is great to have something healthier for her when she needs for competitions. My only complaint is the colors. They are really darker and a little more hot pink than I expected especially the red and I believe the port wine. The plum berry is an ok color, but still fairly dark, especially for a young girl. I wish there was a lighter, or at least a more neutral color in this group of three, but if you are looking for a nice organic lipstick and darker colors are your thing, this would work nicely. I will hold onto for a special event, but hope that it does not spoil, like other reviews indicate have happened.

I'm typically allergic to all lip products regardless of how natural the ingredients (with a couple of exceptions), but I'm tired of looking washed out all the time. If I apply a layer of the lip balm I CAN wear before a layer of Lotus lipstick, it minimizes the irritation. I debated the color, and decided to try the Golden Mulberry. It has more gold flecks than expected, but works with certain outfits. All in all, I'm glad I tried it.
