Dance shoes 10, sizing minus 3
I love these shoes, now that I finally have the right size, but the sizing on these things is beyond absurd! Sizing bears no relationship to any other shoe sizing system in existence, as far as I can tell. I normally wear US womenโs 11 1/2, US menโs 10 1/2 or Euro 44. After several orders, I found that this translates to either 17 Sancha (if one likes snug shoes) or 18 Sancha if, like me, you want room for your toes to wiggle. As you can tell from the screenshot I took of Sanchaโs sizing chart, Sancha 18 does not match any of those other sizing systems AT ALL!!! And I gather from some other reviews that if you wear a small size, you may find the Sancha size too big. Sheesh! Amazon has apparently made some effort to compensate for the weird sizing, so when you put an item of one size in your cart you will probably find a different size appears there. That just makes the confusion even worse, to my mind. So, good luck! The shoes are nice when you get the right size. Comfortable, with soles that slide without being too slippery. But what a pain that sizing issue is!

Returned
Shoe material was very stiff which resulted in uncomfortable fit.

comfortable shoe to teach ballet in
The suede soles are perfect for dance studio wood or mylar floors. Only complaint is that the arch of the shoe isn't very flattering and isn't easily supple.

Finally got the right size
This is the third pair of these shoes that I tried and it turned out to be the charm. I can normally wear anywhere from a size 7 to 8. I had tried the 8 (women's 7) which was just a little too small, and 10 (8 M US Women's/5 M US Men's)SANSHA which was too big. I returned both. I decided to try again and bought these again in a size 10 (8.5 M US Women's) SANSHA and this fit is very comfortable. Not sure why there are two different sizes in the size 10. I used them for the first time in my dance class and they were very comfortable and the fit was good.

Great contra-dance shoes for me, the best ever!
I contra-dance in these, and the suede under the ball is great for swinging, turns really easily, especially when it has gone flat. Yet the rubber heel provides the traction needed to move around quickly. I used to be sore on the outside of my right foot by the end of a contra-dance evening, from the pressure of turning my shoe against the floor while swinging fast. With Salsette 3's that is all but gone. They also work well for waltzing (country waltz, not ballroom). On the other hand, they're not as good for Hambo, where I find I need more traction on the balls of my feet. Actually, they're OK for Hambo with proper Scandi dancers, who turn smoothly without contra-style hopping and pulling.I contra-dance VERY energetically, and I initially thought these Salsette 3's would have a shorter life time than my other contra shoes. But the first 2 pairs are still going a year later (I alternate, to let them dry out better.)

2nd pair
I have worn this model for several years and like it a lot for swing dancing. I previously had an 18 and my big toe always just touched the front so I ordered a 19 this time. (I wear a 12 sneaker.) This is OK in the length so I would say their sizing is 2 full sizes small...not sure why they don't correct it. This one doesn't feel quite as comfortable as the one from 2 years ago in the arch. The construction isn't the same as there's a hard piece of white foam in there to build up the arch that I don't think was in the old pair. Since I don't have much of an arch, I can feel it. If you have a good arch, you may like it. Overall still a good shoe for the price.

Read carefully the reviews for find your correct size
A+, as expected. Today I was supposed to received them.and arrived as promised. I follow and read several reviews. My USA measurements for shoes are 11M for men . for sneakers are 12M . So I bought the Sancha Salcette 3 Jazz Sneaker , Black, 20 Sancha. I went to my salsa dancing classes and It was better than expected. They are light and you could be dancing all night long. They fit perfect. Like sneakers there are close to half an inch of space front- inside but there was no problem, fits perfect like a glove in your hand or socks in your feet. For my taste are a little bit wide in the rear outside the sneaker, not inside,it it is like a cushion ,but really do not bother me because their appeareance is as a sneaker. The price is very reasonable and looks like they are going to be long lasting.

Sneaker, a dance shoe to enjoy
When I first wore this Sansha Salsette 3 Jazz Sneaker, I was skeptical because I was recommended to purchase a larger size. Well - its true. Definitely buy a size at least 3 or 4 sizes larger. I usually wear a 7 1/2 and bought a 9. Because a foot swells during the day, its easier to put on socks, footies, or hose inside the show. I wear them for my favorite kind of dancing - contra dancing! I also had to sort of "break them in." Now they are my "go to" shoe for the evening dance. Its a joy in twirl in these Sansha Sneakers!
