AtmosFlare 3D Pen Set

This is awesome! But it get a little sticky. Bought it for my daughter she is 8 and I have to be supervising her if I don't want a mess. Is a little tricky to use, the light have to hit the gel as you trace up with it other wise it just drip. Over all great tool to spend time with your kids and awesome creations done.

I bought 2 of these with 4 extra ink cartridge packages each for both of my daughters (13 and 23 years old). They were stinking up my room terribly before even being opened while waiting to wrap them for Christmas gifts. They do not work! When the girls finally made a little goopy something it was awful and sticky. I had been so excited for them to open the gifts and was then totally disappointed with the purchase. Do not waste your money on this!

While I didn't know exactly what to expect, I thought for the price this might work a bit better. It is very difficult to get a smooth line, which makes anything we've tried to make look very amateurish. I'm not sure that more practice will help much though. The idea is cool and you can create 3D type structures, they just don't look anything like the things shown, and there is very little instruction to help.

Very fun to play with And entertaining for Entire family. Slightly difficult learning to Drawl upwards to build 3-D but as long as you practice, be steady And take your time, youcan have it skilled like riding a bike. Comes with red and blue definitely wish we had purchased more when we Bought it. Impressed with cool down speed, Overall it was a great buy and still a lot of fun for My family and I.

I bought two because of the $10 price tag... I think I would have been happier with the $$ ...Pros: It works, it is very lightweight, it is easy to use & setup, it was priced at 1/7th of the one I was looking at.Cons: It feels very 'cheap', the ink 'lock' oversteps the space needed to put the ink in so it feels like you are going to pop it like a balloon, the battery plate comes off extraordinarily easy and I had to keep sliding it back on, the on/off button is very easy to bump when holding it, and the nozzle tips require you to pull the ink out -> then change tips -> then re-insert the ink into the unit... it is very annoying if you try to make complex things that need different nozzles.Final position: Spend more on a higher quality product or just keep your money... unless you are rich or allergic to $$... if you are either, feel free to send me any money that you don't want/need anymore and I will make sure it is disposed of appropriately :)

I bought this for my daughter who is 10 years old. She has not been that keen on using it because it's an activity that needs lots of practise. Its not easy the first time you try it and she doesn't have the patience to keep trying. I'm sure once she does she will enjoy using it. It's a good product.

bought as a gift for my brother who is a big star trek fan. and he loved it.

This product was so messy! Smelled horrible and the stench was long lasting. The clip that holds in the ink cartridge doesn't fit well, which causes the cartridge to slip and you have to add pressure to the cartridge for the ink to come out. Ink wont last any thing substantial. you will just end up with a useless pen the sits in a junk drawer. The refills are high cost and are not worth it.
