I recently started getting pains in my shin running. I have upped the distance so it's to be expected. I decided to try these and they work like a charm. Yes still had shin splint pains but whilst running everything felt smoother, no real pain just the odd twinge.4 runs later and the pain is almost gone. Great support and they held up in each of the 4 washes and tumble dryer!Plus it's colder running now and these keep you nice and warm... May just wear them for layers after this :)Definitely recommend

Made my calves hurt more when I ran wearing these but they are supportive to wear for recovery. Quality is ok but quite thin and a bit of a pain to put on with them being so tight and thin.
