Clean hole but there is deformation of sheet metal, had to dolly out the holes punched with this prior to welding rear body panel on....not a big deal but it is what it is.

Admittedly, I didn't punch a single hole. Not because I didn't want to but because the punches and dies once installed and secured did not align. You can fiddle with it, using trial and error to get them to align but it's time consuming and probably prone to errors.. There was too much play in the threads that the die screws into so when it was inserted and the set screw tightened the alignment was almost always off. It was consistently off for all the dies. Maybe mine was made the day before the tap used to make those threads was changed? Whatever, it was no use to me and I returned it.

I immediately unpackaged this punch and went to work on my 1933 VW truck. This will save me endless hours of drilling holes. I do wish that it would have came in a palstic carrying case
