"The New Spirit-Controlled Woman" is one of the most important books any Christian woman should ever read. This is truly a healing book, which will make you feel like you have been enlightened. At least in the area of temperaments that is. By reading this book you will finally understand yourself on a deeper level. This means you can start to work on some of your faults so you can become a better person. You might also be overjoyed to learn that God has been working in your life because you now don't struggle with as many faults as you used to. Perhaps you used to be a very angry person but somehow you now hardly ever struggle with that problem anymore. I can recommend this book to all Christian women who want to become the best person they can be in this lifetime. Depending on your age you are either going to realize you have a lot of work to do or you will be pleasantly surprised at how much wisdom you have acquired just from surviving life. Why should every woman sit down and read this book? Cuz it will help her understand the JERKS out there! It will help you learn what makes you Tick the good & the bad! It's the Greatest Book I have EVER READ ON THIS LIFE TOPIC! No play on words... Itt was actually out of print for over a decade I kept Looking till it was reprinted and got 4 of them so the next time I needed to refer itt took someone else... I could just show them. Plus then I'd never be without it again! I can't tell you how I stressed & PRAYED to find it again. Like the woman who lost her coin & swept the whole house & still couldn't find it! Thank you for reading this long deal... I didn't mean for it to be so long.

Like whole book good read

This book has really helped me to gain a better understanding of why I am the way that I am! I really enjoy the work done by the LaHayes. I have Tim LaHaye's "Why You Act the Way you Do" which covers temperaments in general. Then I bought "Understanding Your Man" to gain better insight on a male friend of mine which HELPED me TREMENDOUSLY! So, I went ahead and bought Beverly LaHaye's so I can see her perspective on how this all relates to women! It was a very wise decison because Bevery LaHaye does an excellent job on showing how temperament impacts women! It is really well written and I really appreciate how she uses scripture to support her points. As a result, I have a much better understanding of myself as a MelPhleg! I always knew I was that from Tim LaHaye's book, but I just felt that the descriptions of the temperments were general and I wanted something that really dealt with things from a womans' perspective. I needed to understand some things in greater depth and in more specific contexts. This book hits the spot! She covers a lot of great topics and it has helped me to be aware of my blind spots!! Excellent book!

I love The Spirit-Controlled Woman, I love how Beverly LaHaye writes, she writes as good as her husband. When I saw the book was being offered on Amazon I bought it. Only I never received the book and this made me very unhappy. I emailed the company where the book was coming from and told them I had not gotten it when I was told I would. They told me I needed to wait around 22 days and if I still had not received the book they would give me my money back. after 22 days was up I emailed them letting them know that the book never came and they refunded my money. I was disappointed I did not get the book but happy they returned my money.

Great book - helps understand temperaments from the perspective of a woman.

This is a must-read to help you understand yourself and others and why they behave the way they do. it also helps you accept yourself for who God created you to be and identify areas where you need taking care of! It brings you to a better understanding of the work of the Holy Spirit in you and helps you see the bigger picture! For me, i didnt realise that in the past i possessed alot of the negative melancholy characteristics but after reading this book, i've realised how much i have changed all thanks to the Holy Spirit at work in me! Highly recommended for all women battling with themselves. Every blessing
