De Soto Low Rise Carrera Tri Short - CTL

I like the shorts - they are comfortable and a little short, which is what I was looking for. They do fit small especially in the crotch. I bought XL and I'm a 34 waste.

Excellent shorts! Extremely comfortable during rides and runs, the length is perfect for me as I do not like the longer legged shorts. I bought 2 pairs and will keep buying De Soto products.

Fit as expected. I am 5'7" and 165lbs and I bought the medium. I use these for short 10-20 mile rides, and also use them in the gym when swimming laps. I really like the qulity of DeSoto products. I will do an indoor triathlon with them at the end of the month.

My favorite cycling shorts. I liked them so much, I immediately got a second pair. I always wash by hand after a ride to make sure I’ll have a clean pair for every ride.The reason they are so comfortable for me is the chamois. Unlike my other cycling shorts, these don’t have a thick plastic cushion as a chamois. Instead they have a pad of mid-weight fleece. As another reviewer said, it’s just thicker cloth. Right. For him, that was a bad thing. For me, it is a good thing. The standard gel pads always cause me to have an irritated bum. Maybe I have an allergy to the material used in standard gel pads. Whatever the cause, I have lots of discomfort with any standards cycling shorts or bibs, but none with these. No more need for chamois cream, no more pain.

They do run a bit small. I am small build and normal waist usually over my waist. So, usually between a small and a medium fits best. However, I ordered a medium and they are a little tight. Definitely order a size up.Comfortable, short rise and looks great. They are not for use in chlorine. But great tri short!

I am a big fan of DE Soto products, but this time their products fell apart within the first month of use. I do not know if they changed manufacturers but I am SO DISAPPOINTED. I even wrote a letter to the main office to voice my concern but no one is listening.

I wanted a low-rise tri short because I'm always rolling up the waist band. Not sure if I have a short torso or if that's just how they are made. I'm 6', 175lbs, 32" waist, with average junk and ordered the medium. The short fit as advertised, but may be a bit low for me. i would suggest ordering up a size. If I were any bigger any where they would not fit.

I'm using the De Soto brand since 2010 and always works for every training or competition day. Perfect fit and very durable. Also used: Orca, and 2xu, but the materials and elastic parts not so durable than de soto.
