Toughees Boy's Class Shoes Black, 12 UK

These look smart and seemed sturdy enough, but my son ( who is 6 years old) has a special ability to wear school shoes out. He has had these for less than a term and I'm not sure that they will last the last four weeks until summer break.He's worn through the sole near the toes and on one side has managed to break a piece of it off. The coating on the toe area has come off and looks untidy too. Having said that, they were a fraction of the cost of the Clarks shoes I bought back in September, and have lasted far longer than any I've had from M&S.At the right price I would buy again, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone expecting their typical little lad to keep them all year.

Shoes are supposed to tough wearing but after only a few weeks of wear were showing signs of large deterioration. Awful, would not recommend at all. After 8 weeks wear shoes are in very poor state from just general wear!

I was a bit sceptical about the claims that these shoes were as good as they said. I must say I will have to eat my words. These shoes are amazing, so amazing that I bought my daughter a pair of Toughees. They have been wearing them for school since the beginning of term. I haven't had to clean them once. They stayed at their Auntie's house for a weekend and I forgot to put their trainers in so they had to wear their school shoes. Went for walks, played football etc. Not a scratch on them. Would recommend these to every parent who have school age children.

Usually order the same style as this in the Startrite brand at a cost of £46.00. These are just as good quality and cost half the price. Very well made and not as heavy and 'clumpy' as Startrite. My son has a very wide foot and these were well shaped for him and fitted perfectly.

am hoping that these shoes will last him longer than the last pair I bought him, although it wasn't the same as these they seem very good quality it remains to be seen if they last longer

So hard wearing and comfortable once worn in. He grew out of these, he did not wear them out, and the leather is excellent quality.

I ordered both the size 4 & 5 in this shoes as my son is g/h fitting. I had hoped that the 4 would fit but it was much to narrow so he's had the 5 which is a little bit long, but has plenty of width. The shoes look study and smart. I hope they last the school year.
