I recently had started baking bread at home and after I'd bake a loaf I would have to put it on a plate and either wrap it in aluminum foil or plastic wrap to store it. I'd done this a few times and realized that these coverings would trap moisture in the bread and possibly cause it to lose it's crustiness or to mold quicker than it should. When I saw these bags on Amazon I thought I'd give them a try. They arrived quickly and I can not be more pleased with them. They're of good quality and are the perfect size to hold 2 loaves of my fresh baked sourdough bread. I love it that they both protect the bread but also allow the loaves to breathe and not retain moisture. I highly recommend them.

I am making way too much sourdough bread and giving it away thus I needed nice bags for gifting. Also I am putting the bread I keep each in a bag too. The bags themselves make gifts as well for someone you know who bakes a lot. Who knew eight months ago that I would be making my own sourdough bread and learning what a linen bread bag was.

I was stunned to see the high quality of the product. I expected something much thinner but the fabric is thick. I think the thickness of the bag is what keeps the bread fresh for so long. I've used plastic bread bags and paper bags and these linen bags are by far superior in keeping the bread fresher longer. They also make a great way to wrap a baked hostess gift. I would definitely recommend.

I was using large zip lock plastic bags to store my homemade bread. If I zipped the bag closed, there was too much moisture. They worked if I left the bag unzipped but the plastic bags did not last long. A friend gave me one of these to try and I loved it so I ordered some more. I read others say their bread did not stay fresh in the bags. I bake 2 loaves at a time and they did well for 10 days stored with the bags in my bread box. My bread is eaten within 10 days so I do not know if the bread would last longer.

Bags are really nice, cute design. Teenage son has become quite the baker. He bakes challah every week for the family, and a neighbor put in a standing order as well. Now he can deliver their challah in this lovely bag, instead of rolled up parchment paper (that gets tossed). They return bag, and it’s refilled the next week. He’s working on starting this as a business, reusable bag or gift - nice touch for a personally baked item.

I am not a good cook but am an excellent baker. So I bake bread to give as gifts. These bags turn my bread into an authentic gift. They are large enough for my Crusty Italian bread, pretty such that they alone are a gift and so well made that they will be used many times by the recipients of my gifts. They arrived in a very nice box. I will buy this product to give as gifts for my baking friends.

This was just what I was looking for. Lately I found a recipe for low carb bread that works in my bread machine, and my wife and I love using it for toast, sandwiches and stuff. It rises past the top of the metal pan it is baked in and is very large, so I was stuffing the loaf into a large plastic freezer bag to keep in the refrigerator. I find these delightful looking cloth bags are plenty large enough to easily keep our loaves in and stored in the refrigerator. And the good thing is, we will not need to replace them, but use them over and over. The three bags are easy to identify by the outside different print on each, and we can keep one for use in church for when we bake the Prosphora, which will be used by our priest.

I have been baking my own keto bread since I started the keto lifestyle. I had been storing the loaves in ziplock bags, but that meant I had to make only one loaf at-a-time and consume that bread within a few days.
