Vanee Heat Recover Motor M1703 1/15 hp, 1550 RPM, 115 volts # R3-R348

We'll know better this winter when we turn on the air-to-air, but the tech who installed it seems to think it's a good thing. Also, it was waaaay less expensive than it would have been had our HVAC guy ordered it. He didn't even know it was available through this supplier.

Not sure yet if it will work with our HRV. I may need to insert a relay for low speed. The original motor has only 2 wires which supply both high & low speed. Its controlled electronically to achieve low speed. The M1703 you supplied has 4 wires, 2 for low, 2 for high. The shaft is also longer. We can cut that, no problem. I have yet to install it due to other commitments.

This motor is a near-exact replacement for my 25 year-old original Vanee air-to-air exchanger motors (the new motor shaft appears slightly longer but isn't a problem for installation, which was relatively easy (make sure you have long-handled #4 metric allen wrench). Electrical connections and mounting all identical, and the motor runs smooth and silent. Thank you!

This motor was a direct replacement for my 7190-0369 Fasco motor that came originally in our Vanee air exchange unit. I hooked it up as soon as I received it(a day early) and so far its working well. We will see how long it lasts. The only disappointment is that it can't be lubricated, its all sealed up where the original motor had lubrication ports(which I didn't know about until it was to late, if I had have known it would have probably lasted forever by adding a few drops of oil on a regular basis).

This motor is great! I had a fasco mod701900369 type U90B1 and I could not find anything in my hometown.(It was to old they told me...) It came in a box with a lot of protection. Thanks to AMAZING MOTORS.

Had a problem with one of the motors. Seller exchanged it for a new one, new motor worked fine.
