I had never used glass files. Didn't really like emery boards, as they left my nails feeling rough on the edges. The glass ones are so different. Leave a smooth edge. These were good quality, each had a case and the colors were all nice! Got 5 for the price of one. Some to keep, some to share!

My sister got me into these! This particular package is best price, they look so cool and neat in the purse too. I put one in every bag and in the car. Lol

These work well but take off quite a bit of nail so use a very light touch

I love being able to have one of these in easy reach to keep me from biting my nails. These are durable, and have soft grit. They are great for a small shaping, but not gritty enough for a sweeping change in nail shape. I like the holder as well, good for travel.

Loved the cases, the beautiful colors & art. Sadly they fail at their intended purpose far too quickly. You'll probably ONLY GET 3 USES FROM EACH FILE. First, of I rarely need to use files, I keep my nails long & only use files after my nails break, I cut them shape them all -- once every few months. I keep them in their cases, so overuse & carelessness isn't the cause for their short lifespan. As I no longer want to purchase disposable items; I purchased these emory boards to reduce my trash & waste. Also Simply Nailogical said they're much better for nail health & work quicker & more efficently than the mini sandpaper carboard ones. I found this to be true after purchasing & using my 1st glass file from the Dollar Tree years ago. I wanted to upgraded to have extras to share & keep in my bags. The cases & beautiful designs seemed to fit my needs perfectly. The price seemed to mean they'd at least be equivalent, if not better than my Dollar Tree file. SADLY they're LESS DURABLE THAN SANDPAPER & my DOLLAR TREE FILES. The coating vanishes after the first few uses even though they were always kept in the cases leaving me with no more than slightly sharpened mostly smooth pieces of glass which are just NON BIODEGRADABLE TRASH. Meanwhile, the 4in 1 sandpaper & craftfoam file I purchased over 20 years ago is still useful, only losing its coating slightly. My Dollar Tree file is also still useful 5 over years later as it may have been etched instead of receiving a light coating.

These glass nail files work better than any file I’ve ever used. The only drawback is the tip is not narrow enough to clean under the fingernail. They do work amazingly!

I used to have a glass nail file that was amazing, but I accidentally broke it and decided to get a larger pack of them on Amazon. These quickly lost their nail-file texture after 1/2 files which was very disappointing. I feel like I can't even use the ones I got anymore. They also just weren't good for my filing nails, which are already very weak. They just made them break more easily and it was too difficult to file them.

I loved the idea of these - and the packaging is great with the file's little storage container, but the performance of the file itself is NOT GOOD! I am very disappointed with the file. I'm not even sure if I can describe what I don't like. It just feels very rough and just seems like it is very harsh for my nails. It feels like using 40-grit sandpaper on my nails. I know you get what you pay for. This was definitely the case here. I wish I could give these a better rating.
