UPDATE: My son has had this topper for nearly 2 years and we also moved residences about 8 months ago. His topper is still as comfortable as the day we bought it and ZERO issues of it degrading or falling apart anywhere - I am shocked and pleasantly surprised. So I finally ordered one for myself. It came well packed and it does take a little bit of a wrestling to get it out and onto the bed but not too bad. It expanded to its full size within the day with NO odor (and I’m sensitive to that) so I was able to sleep on it even sooner than expected. Last night was my first night and I couldn’t be happier. I can’t believe I waited so long to get mine. I will say that it takes a little more effort to turn over, to change positions in the bed but with this I don’t need to - my hip, back and shoulder would always ache in the night and I would toss and turn to get comfortable- but now I was able to actually rest. My sleep score on my Fitbit skyrocketed. I would have a hard time believing it if it wasn’t me since I’ve worked in the mattress/ topper business and have tried many different types. This is the best one I’ve ever seen at this price point - truly the best price and overwhelmingly good value. My only warning: you will not want to get out of bed!This is an excellent topper. Great value and was better than expected. I expected some smell, I expected some irregularities in the foam but it was perfect. I’ve owned several toppers over the years and this is by far the best overall experience and so, so comfortable. I used to work for a company that made mattresses and toppers and I can tell you from experience that this one is definitely well made and surprisingly no odor.TIPS - when unfolding your topper do it GENTLY - do allow it ample time to expand. It didn’t take long for mine, but I gave it extra time - if you put sheets on a bed sleep on it when it hasn’t fully expanded you run more risk of it tearing.- Be gentle with it when moving it, putting on your bed etc. This is a foam product, it is not indestructible. It’s not super fragile or anything, it’s great quality, but I saw a lot of reviews about rips and tears... if you are appropriately gentle with it you shouldn’t have any problems.- This topper may lead you to wanting to spend more time lounging in your bed! Not for those who dislike a cushion-y, melt into it feel, but for those who do, this is your topper!

We bought our mattress off Amazon a couple years ago after we were disappointed in a $3,000 mattress we bought from a local furniture store prior to that one. The mattress was great for the first 18 months or so, but then started to cause hip and back pain, so we wanted a topper to try and extend the use. We initially bought a 3” memory foam topper. While it made the mattress more comfortable, we found that we sunk into the topper so much that we felt trapped by it. We had spent a lot on that topper, so we were hesitant to try this one as we were afraid it still wouldn’t work for us, but I am so glad we bought it. It is just right! It makes the mattress comfortable while still being supportive. No more sinking into a hole and being trapped AND no more hip and back pain from a “too hard” mattress.

Nice mattress topper, it's not overly soft but you do sink down into it a bit. It was shipped in a vacuum sealed bag but it fully expanded within a few hours at room temperature. It had a very slight chemical smell for a few hours but I think it was from the plastic it was wrapped in.It is comfortable to sleep on, though it can be a bit difficult to get out of if you've been in one spot for a while. The egg crate points are quite high but it's not uncomfortable and likely does allow for more air flow. While the memory foam is not cooling in any real sense, it is not hot to sleep on it. I put a mattress cover over it so it has not been a problem at all.Overall, I think this is a nice mattress topper at a very reasonable price (I paid about $60 for a 3" king size) and I would recommend it. It was well-packaged and the foam fully expanded in just a few hours. It is had no significant smell, it is comfortable and not hot to sleep on.

The mattress fit a full bed perfectly, 4 inches thick shortly after opening, no odd smells, good sleep quality and good value for the money.

We just got this foam topper and absolutely love it! It feels like you're sleeping on amazing fluffiness. It’s so soft and forms to your body perfectly. We did not smell a strong odor at all and ended up using it right away. Nor have we felt warm while lying on it. The only somewhat negative is that now my bed is really high and I have to jump to get on it : )

This mattress topper made a very hard mattress very comfortable to sleep on. It is thick and does keep cool. It is $20-60 cheaper than other websites such as Home Depot and Target.

I purchased this mattress to make our sleeper sofa more comfortable. The thin mattress on the sleeper sofa is brand new, and would probably have been just fine, but I added this on top of it and now it is very comfortable. It does make it a little more difficult to close, but still very doable.

Has a very strong odor and seems a little flimsy.

I intentionally bought a firm mattress because it helps my bad back, but I wanted just a bit of cushioning for the 'comfort' feel. I sleep great with this foam. I'd say give it some time to expand. I got it in the afternoon, and by evening it was 1.5 inches. By the next day, it expanded to 2 inches.
