Looks great
My husband and I needed a TV stand and didn’t want to spend a ton on it, but still wanted it to look nice. This TV stand looks just as pictured. It holds all the gear we needed it to and still had room for some decor. We did not mind at all that it’s not real wood, it still looks really nice. It feels sturdy and my husband said it was easy to put together. My only negatives are 1) the screws showing on the front.. the company does send stickers that look like wood to cover these up if you’d like. I thought this would bug me more, but I barely even notice we have stickers on the front now. You really have to be up close to see it and who is going to inspect your TV stand that close lol. 2) we aren’t quite sure how this will hold up when we move.. I’m sure if we package it right with a lot of bubble wrap and tape that it will, but it’s all held together by just dowels and seems like it could come apart in a moving truck if extra care isn’t taken packing it.Overall, we love it and recommend it. I researched lots of different TV stands before settling on this one and am happy this is what we got. The product was shipped very well.. there are boards placed around the whole box to help keep the TV stand pieces from breaking (along with foam and other packing materials) and when we got the box there was a big gash in the side and we opened up the box to find one of those extra packing boards had taken the impact and broke, but the TV stand pieces were safe.. initially we thought the extra board was for the stand and had a good 5min of disappointment because our TV had been sitting on the ground for 2 weeks, but that quickly changed to happiness when we realized it was just extra cushioning.

I thought this might be a nice piece of furniture - but it is a disaster
The locking cams don't lock, the holes for screws crumble and strip as screws are screwed in, the wooden pegs to firm it all up are too small for the holes drilled for them, and glue cannot make up the difference. I think this might be a nice piece of furniture, but the manufacturer is getting sloppy with the pieces, and you cannot put together a piece of furniture that will be sturdy and useful if the pieces are misaligned and the holes are stripping or too large for the hardware. The material being used is of poor quality - if you can make an indentation in a piece with your fingernail, that piece will not hold a screw! I am going to return this piece of junk. I thought it would go together well at the beginning...but after the first few steps, nothing would snug up. Every hole strips. It is a mess. I have wasted an evening, and now I will have to pack up this very heavy item and ship it back. I hope they do not sent this particular box out to anyone else, because every hole is stripped. The particle board is so crumbly and porus that it just cannot hold a screw in most places.Addition from last night: the vendor has refunded my money and told me not to bother shipping the package back to him. I suspect this item a nice piece of furniture, but the materials sent to me were defective - a screw should anchor into a piece, not turn the piece into a sawdust pit where the screw has gone. This was not me being an inept constructor of a kit, I was very careful, and have assembled complex furniture kits in the past that have gone together (often after several hours of hard work and much swearing) beautifully in the end and been used by me and moved several times and are still sturdy, functional pieces of furniture. Advice: when you take it out, preserve the packing materials, and test some of the pieces. If you put a screw-like bit of hardware into a piece and it just loosens and slips back out, give up. You have a kit that is made from materials that will not hold together. Also check the wooden dowels, if they are loose in the holes drilled for them, they will not hold the item together. Glue will not solve this problem.

Nice Unit! Repeated Reviewer Complaints on an Assembly issue. Fix it please!
Perfect for what I needed it for. A TV stand to accommodate Dad's new 55" TV. Sleek looking. I liked it also due to the fact it had no doors to assemble. HATE do it yourself doors! They never go on right! Only complaint is exactly what other reviewers mentioned. In assembly instructions, vendor recommends gluing all the dowels into dowel holes as an early step (they even provide some glue for this). The only issue is, at Assembly Steps 11 and 12, when they instruct you to attach leg panels to the previously doweled frame panel, you realize there aren't pre - drilled holes in the leg panels to accept the "male" dowels you previously glued to the frame panel! Bad design! Other brave reviewers assumed the risk and drilled 4 holes to accept the dowels (2 per leg). Concerned with a jumpy drill cutting into the panel, and the resulting hole being visible from outside, I made a command decision and decided to cut - off the 4 dowels. Doing this may compromise the stability of the stand, but I don't plan on moving it again. So, hopefully, it's secure enough! Note to vendor: Drill the holes in the factory!!
