The case is nice looking overall and feels good quality, but with everything there are some cons with it.1: If you have a MacBook Pro without touchbar then the keyboard cover will not cover your function keys. I wish they would have had an option for the keyboard cover. The case is meant for the MacBook Pro with or without touch bar but not the keyboard cover. (See pictures)2: The keyboard cover does not shine any light through even on max brightness for the backlit keyboard. The letters are white and will not shine any keyboard light through. (See pictures)3: The top cover of the case has an air pocket. This was strange as with any of my other cases do not have an air pocket between the actual screen lid and the case. I can press down on the top cover and it feels like a couple centimeters of air pocket.4: small minor thing. If you like the clicky sound of the keyboard then don't use the keyboard cover. It'll dampen the sound a lot. I how the cover quiets the sound but others may not.My own doing: thought I would add this also. If you use a hub like the satachi pro hub like me (or any other hub that's long and sits flush against the laptop) then it will not fit as the case is designed to leave enough room for other smaller dongles. No big deal. This wasn't a problem with the case itself but figured I would share with anyone with these types of USBc hubs. I just modified my case a little and works just fine still and the case still stays connected to my MacBook Pro no problems. (See pictures)

After reading many of the reviews, I decided to go ahead give it a try. After opening it, the first thing I did was put on the bottom part of the case, and it was indeed slipping. So I examined the part and realized that you have to slide it and hook it from the back first before snapping it at the front. Once I did that, it fit perfectly, no more slipping. I like this case. I am surprised that I even like the keyboard skin, which I didn't think I would. It quiets the "clackety-clack" sound when typing. The only minor quibble I have is that the skin doesn't cover the function keys, which others have mentioned. I can't imagine why they would make it that way since the skins for touch bar models cover the touchbar. But this is really a minor issue. All in all, I really like the case (and the keyboard skin) and would recommend this purchase.

I don't even know why there's bad reviews about this amazing product!! Super easy to put on the laptop, the keyboard cover isn't sticky to the keyboard, but it doesn't move unless you turn the laptop upside down (which I don't see why people would do that) and it doesn't create any conflict with the touch bar at all. Amazing material, super smooth and soft, I'm very happy with this product. The printing on it isn't pixelated at all! I definitely recommen it.

I never write bad reviews. I was so excited to get this cute case in my favorite color and get all the stuff that came with it. But it was seriously disappointing. Fresh off the doorstep I cut the package open, wiped down my laptop, and put it together. Immediately i noticed that some of the decal is already coming off. I was willing to overlook that. But then i put the keyboard cover on and noticed that it was worn thin in some places. I checked to see if it was anything to do with my keyboard and it absolutely wasn't. Alright, no big deal, I have a black one I have that I can use. Then I started to put on the screen protector. I line it up and start squeezing the air bubbles out of it and notice that the entire right side is BENT and won't stick at all. Seriously a lack of care in producing this product and I'm sad that I now have to go and take the time to return it after being so excited.

I bought 2 other brands and both didn't fit. When I opened the MacBook Pro A1989 it cracked off the tabs that held the top cover in place! This one fit perfectly and has NOT cracked. The mat finish doesn't show fingerprints much, the graphic is clear and clean. It doesn't display the Apple logo on the lid but I'm fine with that. Also the keyboard cover fits perfectly and stays in place very well. I'll prob buy another one! As to protection, it definitely keeps scratches and nicks away but in the event of a drop.....maybe not the best. But it's lightweight and fits closely to the computer making it compact with no extra bulk. It meets and exceeds my needs, hope it does for you as well.

Amazing product! This is the second cover I have from this brand and I only bought it as a spare. I have the birds and the river sand covers and they are a perfect match to the colors and design. Keypad protection fits perfectly on the keyboard as well as the covers over the macbook. I have my cover for 2y now and not even a sign of damage (see photos), carrying my laptop everyday from work to home.Make sure that you have the correct macbook models that this cover is made for, otherwise it won't fit.The back of the bottom cover is open (won't go around the back of your macbook) and that is fine and exactly how it is supposed to be. After 2y though, the bottom silicone pads are detaching from the bottom cover, but they send you an extra set! And you can always glue them back. 100/100 for this product. Very pleased.I read many of the comments for this product and I noticed many are related to costumers not reading the description of the product, buying it for the wrong macbook models or choosing the wrong keyboard layout. And still giving a bad review on the product. Just putting my frustration out there :)

This product looks great, and when it arrived i was so excited to get it on. However, halfway through unwrapping, I saw it already had a scratch on it! So annoyed :-/The keyboard cover does not fit the buttons on my mac in several places (maybe this is a US keyboard? I'm in the UK), mainly around the shift and enter buttons... also there's no cover for the F buttons at the top, even though my mac is A1708 so doesn't have a touch bar... but it's not such a big deal as I didn't buy this product for the keyboard cover. But now I see it in person, it looks kinda cool, so now I wish it fitted so I could use it :-(But yeah, main thing is the scratch, so unnecessary... it must have been wrapped like that, how did it pass quality control!? Giving it 2 stars only because it otherwise looks nice.
