Calabria 21040 Flexie Reading Glasses

Have used these glasses for several years. They are the only reading glasses I've found big enough to fit my head that didn't cost $70. However, I have been plagued with the problem of the temples breaking where they meet the frames. On the last pairs I bought I loosened the screws that connect the temples to the frames. This greatly reduced the force needed to open and close the temples. So far, so good. I'm hoping this will extend the life of the temples for me. Even so, I will continue to use them since they fit, they're reasonable priced, they're comfortable and the optics are very clear.

Best readers I have, I bought a pair a while back but chose 3.5 and liked them also but a little to powerful, the 3.0 is perfect and the way these stay on my head is fantastic! high quality!

the flexible part is great, but there ends up being too much distortion, so the glasses end up not helping with the vision.

These glasses are great because they are wide and the magnification is perfect but the paint started coming off right away and stained my jacket. This happened with both pairs I bought. Does anyone else have this problem?

These are really comfortable and light. The optics are good, but the red paint is coming off the ear pieces. I have had to relegate them to home use.

I got a 2nd pair because I liked the 1st. They are wide enough and work fine. Lenses get smudged pretty easy; not easy to clean I guess. If I needed a 3rd pair, these are what I would buy.

I love these glasses, I get the red frames for Emergency viewing like threading a needle and blue frames for normal use different strengths in different colors so I can grab and use. Awesome, comfortable and long lasting!
