Silicone cover comes off in water.
It's a nice metal whistle with the silicone cover for mouth comfort. The necklace isn't bad either, it doesn't feel as cheap as it may look. The only issue is for lifeguarding, the silicone cap may pop off underwater and doesn't float. But it's not bad.

Yay, safety!
Cool whistle made in USA! I got black so not to be too loud, but other colors are nice, as well. Never thought I'd be walking around w/ this, well, here I am. It's well-made, sturdy, little black teeth protector is a good thought & cord it comes w/ is plenty long enough to not look like jewelry. I didn't want a safety whistle made in some other place. This is a good choice, came in quick delivery.

Good quality whistle with good sound. Used it to officiate volleyball.

Great quality in sound, color, and materials
The sound is loud enough to be heard on elementary playgrounds, the color is very bright, and the material of the lanyard and the rubber dust cover are very durable. It's overall a great buy. Because it is made of metal, it is on the heavier side, but nothing that wears my neck out. A plastic whistle would be lighter, but the quality of sound would be lower.
