I used this mold to make multicolored Koi fish to go inside handmade soap. I used an oatmeal bottom layer with real oatmeal on top to look like sand, then placed the already made Koi inside, then filled with VERY lightly-colored blue water. They look magnificent. I had no problem using multiple colors in the koi mold and getting them to stick together, and NO problems getting them out. I had to trim tiny bits where I overfilled but that was my fault. Note to anyone using rectangular individual soap molds, your bottom layer before the Koi must be VERY thin, or his fin will stick out the top and need to be trimmed

Perfect! I used this mold to make truffles with a white chocolate shell. I was afraid some of the details would get stuck or break off, but it came out beautifully without any oil to release it. One recommendation, if you are going to do something like this, is to make sure the tail and fins are solid with the hard shell, then fill with the soft filling and let that fully set before removing. Those are definitely the most delicate points. And don't try to just pop it out - pull the mold away section by section to release it gently. I got so many compliments on this piece!

I was pleasantly surprised to find how thick, and solid but flexible it was, seems it will be quite durable. I love the realistic detail it has. Pink looks good enough to eat... But of course I won't!

I use this to make coconut flavor gelatin, it turned out great! Easy to use and clean, has all the detail of a Koi fish. I'm very happy with it! Do be aware of it's size, read the description, my friend's daughter can eat a "whole fish" in one bite.

it's very cute but the arms and tail fell off and i used white chocolate and froze it for two days and it still broke :/ but it kinda worked out in the end. it was super easy to clean aswell.
