Please read this, before you decide on buying it. It works! It does what it says it does. It's not permanent and doesn't claim to be. One of the reasons it is recommended to get new glasses every year is because the coatings that are put on during manufacturing of the glasses, start to wear off in a year. It protects your lenses from simple scratches. It will not make it scratch proof from things like a paperclip. It is a protectant, not a repair liquid. It is for glass, not plastic. I feel it is necessary to make these points, based on the 1 star reviews I've seen. This product deserves a higher rating. I have used it on my glasses, smart watch and phone, as well as those of family members. It's easy to apply, but be sure to leave it sit for at least 10 minutes and longer if you put on a heavier amount. I hope this helps you make an informed decision.

Maybe I got a dud, but the application cloth was basically dry. The instructions say there will be a residue to buff out after the coating sets (never happened). Doesn't seem like there is any coating or protection. Tried this on my apple watch and eyeglasses. Also, this package is single-use with what seems to be less than enough product to use on even one-pair of eyeglasses.

I did exactly what the instructions said, and it worked. No more cleaning my glasses every time I touched them. Smudges just wipe off.

I wanted to try to see if I used this product for mild scratches on my lenses. It didn't really help that issue, but I could see a difference when using lens cleaning wipes, or if I sprayed cleaning solution, it beaded up from the liquid glass coating the lens.

Honestly, with how it fills in the "microscopic" gaps and creates a level surface, it's unable to be tested to ensure its true. Which is why I can't really rate it higher than 3 stars. The product is easy to apply to glass surfaces. It did seem to make the glass a bit glossier? Maybe it just did a good cleaning? Either way, so far I'm satisfied. I'll have to see how it compares to pieces of glass I didn't put it on. Might buy another kit to do a video and test it see if it does anything. Until then, it's just a good cleaner.

I bought some surplus night vision. The ocular lens (eyepiece) coating had a massive amount of circular scratches where someone had probably wiped it with a dirty t-shirt. I got this repair kit without having any idea what kind of results to expect and initially I wasn’t impressed. The first coat seemed to do nothing and neither did the second or third. But I kept at it. 3 days and 25 coats later and the lens is almost perfect. I wish I had taken a “before” pic to illustrate how bad the scratches were, but seeing the difference now I am very impressed at the improvement. Keep the repair swab folded up and return it to its foil pouch between coats so it doesn’t dry out and it will get the job done. Just don’t expect instant results.

Great product to protect my sunglasses and eye glass lenses.
