Surprisingly good range and sound quality
I was quite surprised by the quality of the sound for the price. As a person who used to put together speakers for big stereo systems when I was a kid from components, I know a few things about speaker range and power. Mind you I purchased these just for my office, now that I'm working from home. The quality of sound would suffer in a larger space, but who would buy these as the main speakers for their sound system anyway? Plus I can hook them up to my cell phone or my portable turntable without having to move except to turn the record over. Over all, I give them 4.5/5. Good job, Edifier!

Decent product for the money
I went after these opposed to buying a JBL bluetooth speaker. In general I like them and the sound is pretty decent. However, the tweeters are very tinny.

Great speakers for the buck
Ok, I have daughter's old bedroom as mini Man cave. I added these to improve my tunage in the room. These R1700BT are outstanding, great sound and punch for small package. Playing REM to break them in. 5 🌟
