Lenovo IdeaCentre H515s Desktop (57328086) Black (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I am extremely disappointed with this computer. The exterior is beautiful and it comes with a good amount of storage and memory...But I thought to myself that seeing 4G of memory meant that this was a fast moving computer.. I was wrong, the processing speed on this is extremely slow, playing flash content is a nightmare...so now its just a desktop on the dinner table used for just emailing. I spoke to a support person and was told that the speed cannot be upgraded...sigh...what a complete waste of a purchase

The keyboard came with the desktop is not working, could not do anything without it. I had to send it back unfortunately!

Our application runs a little slower on this platform under Windows 8. Not sure if it's the platform, OS or turning. That said, these machines installed quickly, run well, are very small form factor so they tuck nicely away.

I love this compact but so far very good desktop

Buyer beware. This is nothing more than a netbook disguised as a desktop. The AMD E-1 2500 1.4ghz cpu is intended for super low power consumption. This is the first desktop I've seen with an external 50watt power supply like those found with laptops and netbooks. The system has no conventional expansion slots that i could see, perhaps a mini pci somewhere. Considering the mother board is tiny, Lenovo still used an over sized mini case to house it. My other mini cases are 20% smaller and house full size mini atx motherboards with all the expansion slots.If you are concerned about saving $2.5 / month on electricity and have lots of free time to wait on a slow computer then I recommend this system.

Computer is decent but there is malware and virus software that was PREINSTALLED before it ever even reached my hands. AND it's the type of software that forces you to purchase some other expensive software just to remove it, which only installs more into your system. How can this even happen?**UPDATE** Tried to contact the company about the malware and never got a single response. After only a year and a half the dvd rom is failing. It makes a hideous rattle sound when a disc is in, reminiscent of vhs players chewing up video tape. Even during its better days it only recognized 1/3 of the regular everyday discs I tried to use. Absolutely useless, I'll either have to pay for a new rom installation or buy a whole new computer again.

This is the worst computer I have brought in 20 years. It is slow , unresponsive and keeps freezing. I brought it for its 2t storage. I have very little stored on it and because it is so appaling I use it infrequently. It leaves me frustrated and bad tempered because it is so uselessI have nothing good to say about the h515s and anything I want to say is not repeatable in a public forum
