Got these for my 2011 wrangler to protect the radiator from debris and they have been perfect for about a year. The matte black looks great hasn’t worn at all, they’re very simple to install- they click right in and fit perfectly snug in there, no worries of them falling out. I’ve taking them off and put them back on multiple times and the clips haven’t broke or warp and still stick like new. They do their job protecting the radiator, I definitely see evidence of rocks and debris that would’ve hit it otherwise and bugs and dirt wipe off with a regular carwash- no extra care needed

These are seriously a no brainer. Easy to install and add a really nice finishing touch to the front of your Jeep. I actually think it makes an older JK look newer. Still maintaining that 7 slot grill look as well! There is definitely a top and bottom so check pics before trying to install. Other reviewers mention this so thank you for the heads up! I got one extra that was white for some reason. Maybe I’ll paint it red later and make it look like a super cool racing stripe. 😁 I included before and after pics.

I read reviews of everything I buy from Amazon. I like to hear the positive but my main focus are the negative reviews. After reading them all I could still find no reason not to buy these. I thought I preferred the wire mesh that mounts to the backside of the grill as these have an impact on the look of the Jeep Wrangler that some may find less than desirable. If mounted on a white grill, for instance, it makes the stock slots look oversized. On mine it turns out that they compliment the look and match the hood guard/deflector very nicely. See photos below. I stuck with the flat black as opposed to the glossy black or simply awful chrome and I am very pleased. Now as to the complaints. One reviewer said they were rough around the edges and fit poorly. My take is that they are well made of a durable injection molded plastic, fit perfectly when oriented correctly (there is a top and bottom) and need no trimming at all. Make sure you order the proper make, model, and especially year. They will not fit certain years but for my 2007 fit was perfect. One guy said he broke a clip during installation. They don't seem brittle at all and must have been mishandled. Another reviewer claimed that they scratched the paint off were the clips contact the grill during installation. Maybe he blacked out his grill like some do and did not prep the surface properly but the stock clear coat paint on mine was not affected in the least as the clip ramps are smooth and only contact the last 1/4 inch before seating which brings up the final complaint/concern...will they stay put? If you follow the instructions and remove the grill to do the install I don't see how these could ever just fall out, not with a wind gust, not in the car wash and here's why. They clip in quite securely but more that once in needed to pinch them in from both sides of the grill to ensure they were seated properly. You think they are snapped in but they are not and if you are lazy and don't want to take 5 minutes to remove and replace the grill then yes they may fall out as you cannot be sure they are seated without visual and tactile confirmation. I really like them and I could find no fault with them at all "and that all I have to say about that".

These inserts look great, are super easy to install and fit the grill of my 2016 Wrangler Sport perfectly. The quality seems spot on and there appears to be sufficient airflow to keep the radiator cool. If you have a 2016 Sport, you can purchase with confidence.

爪での固定になっていて7個中6個は問題なく取付できました。1個は爪がかからず両面テープで固定しました。バリがあったりで中華パーツらしい部分もありますが全体的にはしっかりした作りになっていたため概ね満足してます。装着時は傷がつきますが隠れる部分なので問題なし。発想は中国からなので到着まで少し時間がかかります。 2017.10.2 追記 グリル外して着けたらつめがしっかり噛みましたので評価修正します。

I purchased the matte black version of these grill covers for my 2016 Wrangler Sport Unlimited. The covers fit firmly and snugly. The construction was solid with no warping - fitting completely flush with the grill holes. Each insert was individually bagged to prevent scratching. I was also concerned some reviews said they had received the adhesive version - mine were the upgraded clips. The clips themselves were not flimsy - they were large enough to grab onto the grill, without worrying about snapping off or bending. After some 10 minutes of fiddling, the job was done with no tools. I have no concerns of these inserts falling out on their own. I also figured out how to install them without even raising the hood. So here's my two cents: 1) Make sure you have them the right way up (the larger lip goes on the bottom). 2) Start with the end slots first and work your way towards the middle. The ends seem to be a bit trickier. 3) Push the grill in all the way, and slide it gently up and down until you feel each tab catch. You shouldn't be able to pull it back out with your finger with a moderate amount of pressure once seated and in place. 6) Repeat 6 more times. If you find one is not fitting, swap it out with another one. That's about it - 10 minutes, no tools, no adhesive to muck up your grill, and the covers look dealer installed. I am SO happy!!! The biggest compliment I received was when I showed my friend the installed inserts, and she had absolutely no clue what I was talking about, since they match so well with the grill. The black matte plastic matches the black grill perfectly. And at the price I paid, if they look ratty in a few years, I can just replace them. Thank you for this fantastic and unique product that will protect the slot holes from stones. I will upload some pics to show results.

Very happy with grill inserts. So easy to install. Received them super fast. They were exactly as pictured. Super happy.

Unfortunately the clips that are supposed to hold these in place keep breaking, I even tried to super glue the clips back in place to try and get them to clip back onto the grill. I feel as though I wasted my money. If you are happy to use double-sided tape to keep these in place on the grill and never want to remove them to be able to clean the grill thoroughly, then these are the inserts for you!
