I'm so glad that Epilady listened and started making this model again
Not for the faint of heart but totally worth it. For about the cost of a full leg wax, you can have this in your bathroom forever. It's not painless. But do people really expect to get their hair pulled out by the root and have it NOT hurt?? My mom had one of these when I was a kid and I've been looking for myself ever since. I'm so glad that Epilady listened and started making this model again. Easy to use and great results. Tips for first time use.... Hair grows in phases, meaning all hair doesn't all grow at the same time. Knowing this, I used Nair first. About a week later, I used the Epilady on the hair that was still there and that was starting to grow in. Now I use it about once a week and just get what's there. It's a lot less intense than going in first time and getting everything all at once.

I love the Epilady...I’m wondering what took me so long to discover this wonderful epilator?
I fricckin love the Epilady Classic. I’m 65 yrs old...I’m afraid of slipping and falling in shower shaving my legs as I’m getting older and live alone. My friend said she loves her Epilady Classic and I should give it a try.I wished I had heard of this epilator yrs ago. Yes, there was a slight discomfort using it the first few minutes...but no more discomfort than the first time I had my legs waxed. What I’m trying to say...after you experience the first minute of the leg hair being pulled...you kinda of expect it. You no longer feel the discomfort.

Unique in its class
I prefer the Epilady to other hair removal devices because it really pulls the hair out and there is no stubble. I have been using this device since 1998, and recently bought a replacement. My previous devices would have rated 5 stars. This one gets only 4 because: 1) It looks unnecessarily ugly-WHY would they send me a white Epilady with a black cord? 2) I have used it twice-seems to work OK but too early to be sure about durability, and the packaging looks a lot cheaper than the previous devices (this is my third device in 15 years) 3) The cost is almost double what I remember from 5 years ago - just doesn't seem right given there is not that much to it.

Dont buy it, just don't.
I have been using an epilator for several years now. Growing frustrated with the time it takes to get a clean epilation, having to work with diminished battery life and make multiple passes over the same area, I remembered the spring epilator that my aunt and mother would reminisce about. A quick Google search lead me to find the product had been relaunched. I'll admit my expectations were high when I ordered this product. However when it arrived, it did nothing. It is indeed the same machine that I remembered, but the plastic casing is lighter, the spring is more loosely wound and more pliable, and the overall quality feels like something you would find hanging on a back wall of a dollar store. The spring does nothing to lift fine, moderately grown hair, let alone coarse hair or hair that is too long to be stubble. At 70 dollars or so, I really expected and wanted this product to work. I tried different angles. I tried letting my coarse hair grow out more, I tried accepting that it wont work in my legs and using it on areas with finer hair but try as I might, it could grab nothing.I doubt there is anything wrong with the piece I recieved. It just a matter of the quality of the materials used. Incredibly disappointing. If you're going to shell out that much on an epilator, you can find great tweezer based epilator for the same cost that have features like rechargeable batteries for wireless use and waterproofing.I missed the return window and got a small sum of Amazon cash, so all was not lost. But a great deal of money and time and energy was still lost. 0/10 would not reccomend.

Reducing hair & black roots all over my legs after shaving.
I had one in the 90s and so happy to see it’s back.Easy to use, VERY effective. Takes a few minutes to get used to the stings as the hairs are pulled out...but then it hurts good. Pulling every hair out! Can’t wait For the second round of hair growth so I can get them out with my epilator!Adding a quick update: used my epilady for a month and it died! I had my original one for 10yrs. amazon refunded my money and I didn’t need to ship the broken one back. I did purchase another one, plus a the epilady tweezer. Hopefully they last a little longer than a month.

After a few weeks it worked EXACTLY like my 30/40 year old one.
After a few weeks it worked EXACTLY like my 30/40 year old (worn out) one. When I put it on my skin it bogs down.

As described as
I had an epilady epilator for many years, but earlier this year the coil broke, I had difficulties find a replacement. Many adverts said that they did not ship to the UK.I was therefore pleased that I was able to obtain one from this company. It arrived within the time stipulated,in fact a few days earlier. The moly downside was obviously I had to purchase an adapter for the electric plug.

So happy to have the Epilady back in my life. I have been using the classic Epilady since 1989. My classic finally broke about 5 years ago and I had to purchase the Epilady trio. I never liked it as much as my Classic but made due. The Trio gave way a few months ago. Purchased the “brought back” classic. It feels allot lighter than the original but works just as it should. Thank you, I am very pleased. 5 stars
