Piano Adventures - Theory Book - Primer Level

I love this series and have used it as a piano teacher for 30 years. The theory book gives great reinforcement of concepts and helps students remember the new things they learn each week. Highly recommended!

I wrote this same review on the second book we bought but wanted people to still know how great it is! This book was exactly what we were looking for! What we love about the book is that my 10 year old works in it with his piano teacher and then brings it home and I am able to work through it with him too and I am not a piano teacher nor have I ever had any experience. But I feel like I’m learning right along with him which makes it really fun for the both of us. We bought two of these books. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn!

This is a great beginner theory book! I use it with my students all the time, and they enjoy doing the activities. I like that every activity teaches or solidifies a music principle. Definitely would recommend

My 8 year old said she loves it, and easy to read

This is an absolutely fantastic book. The steps to progress are interesting and although sometimes not immediately fun, once I've explained the reason behind each tune, my son shows much more enthusiasm and has worked through the book without the need for a teacher. I would also say that this is suitable for adult beginners simply by the fact that they would appreciate the concept behind the basic songs.

It's an essential workbook that complements the Lesson Book beautifully; I've seen great progress in my student's understanding of music theory since we started using it.
