Way better than the WD counterpart…
I bought this to replace a WD MyBook 18TB. The only con is that Seagate doesn’t currently offer an 18 or 20TB option, so I took a hit on space. It far exceeds the MyBook in every other way:Data transfers are roughly 10-12% faster.This drive is WAY more quiet than the MyBook.This drive is noticeably (but not significantly, per the IR temperature scan) cooler than the MyBook.This drive is compatible with a Roku, which makes RV-ing with a boatload of entertainment a huge plus.This drive acts as a USB hub, with the two USB 3.0 ports on the front, allowing daisy-chaining when necessary.I really do like these drives, and have a number of them in varying sizes. Now if only they’d offer bigger drives….

Meets my needs. I ordered one from the States and this one from the UK. This one arrived first by DHL. It was late in the day but made me very happy I was able to get the thing to work right away. Thanks DHL and the folks selling it. Buy the way I paid much less than it was selling for here in the States. It also came with more than likely every adapter you'd ever need to power it up almost any where.

Just a note
Be advised that about 10% of the 14TB is used for formatting and stuff so you only get 12.7TB of useful space to store your data in.

Working exactly as expected
Excellent capacity for this drive; no complaints or problems whatsoever

Seagate failed within hours of use
Like the 14T with extra hub support. Seagate Tech support was not great when I tried to get it running' Tried on 2 computers, the drive failed on both. Advised to return unit by Seagate. Disappointed.

Mac Issues

DOES NOT WORK TO BACKUP IPHONES & CUSTOMER SERVICE UNDERWHELMING
DOES NOT WORK TO BACKUP IPHONES! Worst experience i could imagine having with an external hard drive. Tried using a Mac and a Windows computer and neither worked. The Iphone mobile app also doesn't work which is what is required in order for it to work with their Seagate Dashboard on both the PC and Mac. Worthless devise from my perspective
