Overall a fantastic investment for Homeschoolers.
I was comparing sets of snap circuits for a while. We're a homeschooling family and my son (6) has been incredibly interested in Electricity because of a game he loves in Adventure Academy. My daughter (8) has shown some interest but I wasn't sure what her reception would be.I knew I'd pick the 750 because I knew it would get a lot of use and I didn't like the idea of multiple boxes of upgrades.I picked this specific version for a few reasons, the case was important to me because I felt it would encourage the kids to put things back where they belonged and the student/teacher guide was also very important because I honestly am not well versed in the sciences and that extra assist was needed.Pros:The case - It is very sturdy. I love it. I feel like that added protection was 100% worth the extra money and I feel like it's more likely to be a long-term buy this way.The plans - I love that I start with 1 and work my way forward. The price - While it's a big initial investment (unless you get a good sale), the overall price per use is not. We were using Kiwi and Tinker Crates before this to have more hands on experiences and I'm sure I paid more than this in less than a year on those. The educational value - My kids really loved learning this way. We talked about what exactly each piece was doing and went through lessons and they were actually reinforcing that learning later on while doing crafts talking about charges, attractions and gravity.Age range - All of us, from 6 to adult, learned and enjoyed playing with it.Cons:The price - It is a cost to plan for.The case - I understand the layout of the pieces and it does make sense to me but when searching for certain pieces it can be hard to see their number to see if it's the right piece. Some are clear against a black background and pretty recessed into the foam. So, good lighting is needed of a flashlight. The parent/teacher guide - I had to make it more age appropriate as I feel they are geared to older kids.

Fantastic quality learning set!!
This is a very high quality item. The extra money spent to get the set with the case is well worth it. The case keeps all the pieces separate and in good shape as well as easy to locate. This kit also came with several manuals with easy to follow instructions on how to build each project. This set is easily for any age group from K-adult as there is easier to difficult projects to challenge everyone. Also came with teacher manuals which gives a deeper understanding to the workings. This is a durable case (no cheaply made), and the pieces are very strong and durable. It will last for many years and grow with a child in ability and in understanding of concepts. I was very impressed with this set. We haven't done any of the computer projects yet, but I'm sure they're fun. The only thing i wish (and it is not necessary for this set by any means), it would be nice to get a second board so someone else could also build or have 2 projects on the go. The building piece that the pieces are put together on is durable and will last. An awesome purchase. Paid less than 200 for this set and well worth it for the years of learning it will provide. Highly recommend for anyone with an interest in this area!!

So far this is the best educational tool that I have ever seen which is suitable for many age groups. I bought this kit for my son ( 9 years old ) for Chritmas. In a few days he was already assembeling all kinds of circuits and was was able to explain the names and the functionality of some of the electrical and electronic components of this kit. Very easy to assemble and disassemble ( no tools required ) .This kit comes with a very nice case , organized, and well labelled with foem to keep all the components in place. The books are awsom, very well written, clear and easy to understand for many age groups. This stuff gets tought in seconday schools only if you take some specific courses. Never mind useless video games, this is one of the best gifts you could ever buy your kids. They could actually learn something usefull. Five star

Price fluctuated from $87 to $159 in December 2018.
Great product! Easy to follow student guide and 750 projects to build. Even my 6yo was able to build projects he was interested in building. Nicely organized in a good quality case. Didnt get the lowest price as I did notice price fluctuated between $87 to $159 in December. It was at the lower price a week before Xmas but had already bought at the higher price. No regrets as still great product.
