Good price for 02 sensor for my 1998 Trans Am WS6
This is a very good price for a replacement 02 sensor. I had to replace the bank 2 sensor 2 oxygen sensor on my 1998 Trans Am WS6 and this fit and works perfectly. The price is also very good. The sensor I had to replace on my vehicle is also in a very easy location to do it yourself. It is on the passenger size exhaust near the door. I used one of the sockets made for 02 sensors which have a slot in them for the wire which also made it an easy swap. These sensors come already coated with some grease and glass beads in the threads as and anti-seize measure. I added a bit of extra anti-seize myself since these can be difficult to remove. Of course when you remove these you should do it with a hot exhaust to make them easier to remove. In some cases one has to use a torch to heat up the area to be able to get them out. Or you might get lucky and it comes out easily. So just not to take chances I think it is a good practice to use some extra anti-seize in case you need to replace the sensor again. Also depending upon the location you might want to add some metal to cover the wires. There are various ways to do this including metal tape. The stock on had braided metal over the wires and it is possible to cut it off and attach it to the new one. Since the wires to the sensor are so close to hot exhaust it is not a bad idea to come up with some sort of preventative measure such as this during your install. So a very inexpensive replacement part that works like stock and is easy to install save for those possible removable issues.

Works for awhile, then I get codes again, buying oxygen sensors sucks cause there's a 50/50 chance you get a good one.

Delivered as promised and fitment was fine. Nothing wrong with part but despite the car computer indicating this needed to be replaced now I need to replace the converter. No problem with the part and of course much less than my local Parts Stores!

Works as expected
I helped out my friend who had a Chevy venture and the code said the post cat O2 sensor was bad so we ordered this and swapped it out. Now the code is gone and he said the gas mileage also improved. So I’m happy to help and this was affordable.
