Pioneer SE-E721 Earphone

I purchased this for working out and running since my other headphones were low quality and the backup pair would not stay in my ear during vigorous runs. I bought the red ones, and wasn't expecting much outside of somewhat decent sound quality and pretty looks for something that I would just use during my workouts.Boy, was I wrong. These headphones are great. The sound quality matches headphones that are 3 times the cost as these. For instance, I prefer these over Beats (Which are over-priced) and they have the same "sporty" look to them. I can run in them at full speed without worrying about them falling out of my ear or becoming loose. I can lift without them falling out.They don't have sound-isolation technology but at about half volume and up, I can't hear a damn thing. Which could be bad for some runners, but keep it below half and you'll be aware of your surroundings.Clarity of sound is great, and the bass is great on my trance and rap. After about a month, these things have been holding up very well and I am a very heavy sweater. Would most definitely recommend this brand.I got the red and black ones, and they're very stylish, but would look at getting the white ones next time if and when I need to get another pair.

I broke the plug on the first pair I bought. Awaiting delivery on the 2nd pair. The broken plug was totally my fault, so I'm not holding it against the manufacturer. As for performance, two issues. Depending on whether you wear glasses and the type of frames you may have some comfort issues. 2nd issue involves finding the right size ear pieces. It's a lot of trial and error for me. After I found what I thought was the right size, I had to go one size larger to get the most comfortable fit. Took about 3 or 4 runs to get it. Sound quality was OK and build quality was excellent. I did a half marathon run last month in 3 inches of rain. Even in monsoon weather the headphones performed well, they did not slip off my ear or shorted out. I broke my plug when I slammed my car door shut on it on my way to the gym. I was pissed but quickly ordered a replacement pair.

Im not disappointed with the purchase. I bought them to run, and they do stay on snug.. They take a bit of getting used to tho.. and putting them on right and finding a comfortable position takes a few minutes. They tend to hurt a bit if not put on right. Just rotate a bit until comfortable. But once on, they stay on.. Sound is ok. Nothing extraordinary.

Where do I begin. Customer service would not let me return without paying shipping when I never even opened the box. The shipping is included in the price, other dealers who do not include shipping sell in the $20 with $18+ shipping. They are very hard to place in & around ear. Very uncomfortable when wearing a hat. I will stay with my $24 earphones at a mass retailer & have great sound, easy to fit, conforms to my ears & more features.

I purchased these to listen to music while I run outside, usually 5 days a week. I've always been hesitant to try the headphones that wrap behind your ears because I usually can't stand the feeling of something being strapped to me while I run. For this reason I only use an iPod shuffle clipped to my shorts (so no bluetooth for me yet). Unfortunately my suspicions were correct. These things felt bulky and intrusive, and that was just sitting down trying them on. Also, the pieces that go into your ear were very difficult to get in all the way, I could never see myself dealing with having to sit there for 30 seconds per ear fiddling with my headphones before every run. Maybe if you're used to this style it wouldn't be a problem. The sound quality was great for the price (as usual with Pioneer, which was the main reason I purchased them to begin with). I have returned them and will go with a model that doesn't have the wrap around setup. Also, the coiled cable feature looked dumb when they were on my head, total gimmick.

Bought these a few months ago because I decided I wanted to start running and needed a good pair of headphones that wouldn't fall out of my ears as I ran. These have been perfect! I have had no problems and I'm completely satisfied with them!At first I didn't think I'd like them because I'd never had headphones that wrap around my ears and when I first used them I did have slight trouble getting them to sit comfortably in my ears. After the initial trouble on the first use I have had no trouble with discomfort from them. All of the sound comes through and they even have the cool feature of having the cord close to the ear bud spiraled so that quick head turns don't rip them out of your ears!I absolutely love these headphones and recommend them to anyone needing some headphones to run or be active in!

Earphones are a bit troublesome to put on, but other than that, they sound good, stay in place (especially with the spring in the cables helping to adjust for any movement your head makes) and have otherwise served me very well for all my runs and cycles.sound clarity is not on par with other sports ear phones but for the price you pay i think its a pretty sweet deal.

These sound WAY better than my Monster iSport headphones. It took me a minute to get used to them but the design is great and they don't fall off or get loose when I jog. I was iffy about ordering from Japan cuz I don't like to wait long for my purchases, but I got it in less than a week. Definitely the best headphones for the price, I couldn't justify paying 100 dollars extra for the similar Beats by Dre sport headphones. Are these BOSE quality? Not quite, but definitely on par with many of the 100+ dolllar "premium" headphones you can find at Best Buy and definitely heavy on the bass.

Quelle surprise à leur arrivée. Difficiles à mettre les premières fois, cela demande une petite manipulation mais il ne faut absolument pas abandonner car une fois en place, ça ne bouge plus ! Le fil est suffisamment long pour porter un MP3 à la ceinture ou même dans son sac à dos. L'apport du fil en tire bouchon juste avant l'écouteur est vraiment un gros plus.Côté audio, c'est plutôt bon, avec de bonnes basses et un son suffisamment fort.Attention néanmoins, les intras sportifs demandent une attention toute particulière lors de leur utilisation du fait de l'isolation phonique qu'ils procurent.Reste maintenant à évaluer la durée de vie d'un tel produit.

For years Ive always been after a great pair of headphones that dont fall out when I move. The problem I have is that I dont ever want to spend too much money on ear phones. At £40 these are just about on the upper limit of what Im prepared to spend, but to be honest, if they were priced at double the price they would be worth it.I popped them in and connected to my phone and popped on a great track, you know, one of those tracks that makes great use of the balance. I had to firstly change the rubber end to the smallest one, which took all of about one minute as its so easy and simple to do and then I had to pop them in. Now, if you are like me you wil struggle to get them in the first time as these are a different shape to other headphones. The ear piece is actually on a ball joint so you have to insert the ear piece into your ear FIRST and then wrap the rest of the phones round your ears, not the other way round like most other headphones. DOnt worry about the ear piece falling out as, because its on a ball joint it will swivel round quite easily.Noise quality is excellent, but be warned. Because it has a rubber seal the end and it fits so snuggly into your ear canal its very hard to hear noises from the outside world, even if the volume is turned low, so if you are walking or running outside please please look twice before changing direction. Remember that in a fight between steel and flesh, steel will always win.So, how do they fit? Well, Im very fussy, I want good fit and comfort. The first 10 minutes was a bit wierd. I was aware they were in my ears, but like most things that feeling goes away as you become more comfortable with them. It was only because they were new. I jumped about, walked, jogged, sprinted and they were still in my ears. I did everything I could possibly think of to try and find fault with these headphones and I failed. I even brushed my hair with a big fat hairbrush and within reason they still stayed in.Ive seem headphones adertised at over £200, and I say dont buy them. Instead, buy these. I bought the red pair as I jog wearing a black/pink combo, but if you are not fussy about colour I say get the black ones as they are actually £3.00 cheaper at the time of writing this.

Nachdem meine alten Sennheiser Bügelkopfhörer nach Jahren kaputt gingen brauchte ich dringend Ersatz.Ich suchte wieder nach Sportkopfhörern mit Bügeln, da "normale" ständig aus dem Ohr fallen und ich dafür beim Joggen keinen Nerv habe. Ich habe mich dann nach längerem suchen für die Pioneer entschieden, da ich hoffte sie würden das halten was sie versprachen und ich zuvor mit dem Hersteller zufrieden war (Autoradio). Meine Anforderungen waren:- Guter Halt beim Joggen und anderen Sportarten- Guter Klang- Auch unter "feuchten" Bedingungen, wie Regen und Schweiß voll funktionsfähig bleiben- Akzeptabler PreisDas, wie ich finde, sie auch noch gut aussehen, war letztendlich auch ein Kaufgrund.Habe die Kopfhörer für 39,90€ gekauftNun zum Produkt: Sonntag bestellt. Dienstag geliefert. Perfekt!Natürlich gleich abends ins Fitnessstudio zum testen. Es sind vier verschiedene Gummiohrstöpsel dabei, um es sich im Ohr bequem zu machen.Der Klang ist überzeugend und der Halt im Ohr ist perfekt. Da wackelt nichts! Die Außenwelt wird natürlich dabei stark ausgeblendet. Man muss aber ehrlicherweise dazu sagen, das man zu Beginn etwas am fummeln is, bis sie optimal sitzen, da sonst der Klang eher dumpf ist. Man muss sie schon ordentlich ins Hirn drücken. Vielleicht bin ich es nur einfach nicht gewöhnt, aber das is mein einziger Kritikpunkt. Die Spiralen unterhalb des Ohrsteckers federn auch mal kleinere Zupfer am Kabel locker ab. (Ich persönlich bleibe gelegentlich mal dran hängen, von daher ist das durchaus praktisch) Das Kabel ist sonst außreichend lang, damit man es mit dem Handy zusammen bequem in die Hosentasche stecken kann.Ich kann das Produkt auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Den einen Stern ziehe ich, wie oben bereits erwähnt,aufgrund der Tatsache ab, dass man die Kopfhörer ziemlich weit in den Gehörgang einführen muss. Möglicherweise bin ich es auch nur einfach nicht gewöhnt, da diese meine ersten In-Ears sind.

These earphones are better than expected. I run a LOT, and so far, these earbuds don't just stay in your ear, but they don't shift at all, even when you sweat. Sound quality is crisp, but not terribly loud....but overall very good quality sound. I've been through several pair of earbuds, including Bose and "Yurbuds" sports.....allOf which disappointed. Highly recommend for any hardcore runners out there.
