Good buy for the cost. I am using it both for my Topcon Slitlamp and zeiss Visu 150 microscope since last 6 months.

I have purchased this camera for our lab microscope. The installation and setup are pretty easy. The menu is easy to navigate. It can record up to 4k 25FPS. It records in 720p 30fps and 1080p 60fps. It has an external adapter but the camera can be powered via USB as well.You cannot set custom FPS. If you wish to record 1080p then 60fps is the only option. However, we can connect via USB and record on the computer in custom FPS. So, technically it is not bothering us. The main concern with the camera is the low light performance. We tried every available setting like brightness, auto gain control, exposure, etc. However, the picture/video appears very dark and it does not give the desired output. Since the camera is purchased online. There is no such tech support that you will get.Also note. Camera functions will not work on USB. You cannot navigate through the menu and change settings. It only works on HDMI out on a display or TV screen connected via HDMI.PS: Please ignore the beam splitter in the pictures. That doesn't come with the camera! Needs to be purchased separately.

Hi.I saw the review by Saurabh a d ordered it on Amazon .I bought this camera to fit on my Zeiss 30 mm C mount.It does nt fit ie is the mount is 5 mm larger than the threading of the cameraWhen I managed to put it on the C mount of the Topcon photoslit lamp , the magnification is so high that I can see only a tiny part of the eye.Can anyone help me in this matter ..

I am using it with my zeiss ophthalmic microscope and surprised with the performance of this camera. Overall, i am very happy with my purchase till now and since it comes with 6 months warranty , I don't think there will be any issue in future as well. Moreover, if i compare the pricing with other available full HD microscope camera, it is quiet reasonable.

For eye surgeons looking for camera for camera forbslut lamp or microscope , this is it , direct recording into micro SD card

The area covered is less than what we seen through the eyepiece

Useless camera.the low light performance of the sensor is worse than my phone .the camera wont focus when the microscope is focussed and vice versa . The output video quality is not worth the price of this camera .also to top it all if u dont like the camera this cannot be returned also .better find some other camera .
