The other answer from Nicky T. is correct. You can tell a balanced vs unbalanced cable by just looking at it. This is unbalanced. I just want to add that unbalanced is what you want because all guitars and bass guitars have unbalanced output! A balanced cable wouldn't hurt anything (except maybe your wallet) but it wouldn't provide any benefit.

Will this right angle cord work with a Fender Telecasters socket?

I believe you can use the straight end in the instrument and the “L” in the input port on your audio mixer/DI box/etc if there is an issue with a given instrument - gives you the option otherwise
