The tubing is excellent. Cheaper kits use rigid plastic that kinks easily and some of the more expensive bucket-type kits use surgical latex tubing, which is all right but easily stained and hard to clean. This tubing seems a happy compromise, with some exterior ribbing built in to beef up its resistance to kinking. The stop valve and the two basic attachments are pretty much standard stuff, although of the better variety with smooth surfaces for improved comfort. The bag is fabulous -- very thick, rubbery plastic and quite large. Of that list, I think pretty much all of it will work well and last a long time. I have not tried the deep colon tube, and that was the one thing that I did not like in the shipment that I received. Note in the photo that it is coiled (the thinner tube). Actual delivery was inside a paper & plastic wrap such as is used in disposable hospital equipment, which would make coiling difficult. Instead it was tri-folded, which put two prominent kinks in the tube, enough to close it off completely. I taped one end to the wall and let it hang for a couple of weeks, which seems to have solved the problem. For a faster solution, I might have simply soaked it in hot water; that usually works well in reshaping deformed plastic. It would be better if the shipper could find some way to pack it other than folding, though. All in all, I highly recommend this kit, especially for people who want the ability to do deep cleansing of the full colon.

The Soul Genie 4 quart bag is perfect. I highly recommend it. It is by far the best bag I have ever used. I have purchased several other brands that do not last very long, but this one seems indestructible. I used the first bag daily for over a year, and then when I traveled I forgot the bag, so I bought a second one and leave it at my daughter's house. At first, I was concerned about the hook carrying the weight of 4 quarts, but the metal "S" hook and the reinforced hole at the top work really well (and after a year show zero signs of weakness or concern). I have a weird bathroom setup, so I attach and hold the whole thing using a wooden hanger (with a metal hook) and hang the enema bag on the hanger, and then I have more flexibility to hang the whole thing on the cabinet in my bathroom. Then when the bag is empty, I just move the hanger/plus enema bag over to my shower for cleaning. The hanger fits nicely over the towel rod in the shower and it's easier to fill with soapy water and let soak, and then drain into the tub and hang to dry. In bathrooms where there is not an easy place to hang the bag (and hanger) I bought an "S" hook for massage and put that on the high cabinet and then hang the bag & hanger on one of the knobs about half way down. Also, this S massage hook is fabulous for reaching sore spots on my back, but obviously not when I am using the fabulous Soul Genie...;)

Size of bag at 4L is perfect for a large enema. Don't have to fill it all the way if you want to go smaller.Downsides: Included tubing is not great, gets loose on the bag after a few uses. If you use warm water, tubing gets even softer and you feel like it's just going to come off the end of the bag if you aren't careful.Smell is very strong upon arrival. Suggest filling and rinsing a few times before first use.If the tubing was higher quality this would get 5 stars, however, as it stands, 4 stars is my rating.

This kit works as advertised. It is durable and easy to clean/ sanitize. I use it more than most people would, & have worn out a hot water bottle adapted for use as an enema bottle.The capacity of the bag is generous and the design allows for top filling without having to manipulate any fittings. That is great!The only drawback I found is that the chemicals used to cure the rubber in the bag smell bad and take many days to dissipate. That is a problem for someone that is sick, but after the gas dissipates the bag works beautify. I give it five stars anyway because it is so good that the initial air-out period is quickly forgotten. Thank you to the vendor.

After reading some reviews for other products I went with this one because I didn't want to have to stop and refill half way through. As it turns out for a first timer this bag was more than enough. It took me three tries to finish off the bag. Also I was a little nervous that the bag was gonna rip from all the weight, but it held up great and the new hook they provided was definitely a nice upgrade to the product. I didn't think about it at the time of purchase, but I should have order an extra set of insertion tubes. The bag only comes with one, so if you plan on making this a regular habit don't forget to add a set to your purchase.

The bag is large enough that you don't need to refill which is nice. But the bag itself is made of a heavy thick rubber that just smells bad. The smell is so potent that it stinks the entire bathroom like industrial rubber. The bag has been washed several times, but it just stinks. Other than that, it's perfect and does the job well. It comes with a small instructions book for beginners as well which was nice.
