Surprisingly good
So I have always been a bamboo fan. Never thought I would like metal needles, thought there may be too much slipping and whatnot. I definitely hate the plastic tubing/aluminum needles, but these are some kind of metal cord that are pretty securely attached to the actual needle. I havent pulled on them too much, but I think they may be pretty durable. They feel good and I like the silky sensation when I knit with them, as they glide against each other very nicely. For the price, I feel like I should get a few more sets.Only con was that I had to buy a separate sizing guide to verify the sizes, as 60% of them were labeled incorrectly in the pouch. But I'm glad I have it for future use.Definite 5/5. So far.

Great set for hats and sleeves
These needles are great. The joins are smooth and the cables are a coated wire cord. They won't kink or curl. The sizes are weird, no US4 but if you knit a gauge switch you can make do with one of the sizes included. I'm glad I ordered the set. I have wooden interchangeable for longer lengths but this is a great 16" set.

Inexpensive alternative if you like blunter tips.
The case is great but the sizes printed on the case are the Japanese/Chinese sizes. I used a needle gauge to write the US equivalent on each pocket. The US sizing can be off slightly and it may be better to metric/UK (mm) size the needles to get a more accurate result. They are light weight...the needles are hollow. The tips are a more blunt tip and not needle sharp like a metal chiaogoo needle. (Pic 3) The needles do have a slight bend where the needle and cord connect that makes knitting in the round much easier than other fixed circulars. (Pic 1) The cords are great. It’s a twisted/braided wire that has a fine clear coating. It’s very comparable to the red lace chiaogoo cords. (Pic 2) The joins are decent but you’ll be disappointed if looking for chiaogoo joins.Over all these are a good cheaper alternative to start with if you’re just getting into knitting. I still used mine some even though I have since invested in chiaogoos.

Inexpensive yet useful
I bought this set of needles as an inexpensive downgrade from the needles I had been using. They were nickle-plated and, unbeknownst to me at the age of 42, I have a nickle allergy. While my knitting had become much better and my nice new needles were shiny, my hands became scaly and cracked and bleeding. So, after donating my shinies to a lucky new knitter, I bought these. They are verified nickle-free. The tips do tend to be blunter than I had previously used, and I could see a possible problem with lace knitting. The smallest I have currently used is the 2.25mm with fingering weight yarn. I personally did not have a problem. And I would rather not try to pierce my fingertip with every stitch.I did go through and size each of them and re-marked everything in mms rather than the Asian sizing. Falling back into the metric dimensions has saved many headaches when translating to other knitters on discussion boards and such. Also, there is a lot of room for size differentials in US smaller sizes. I currently have sized these as 5mm(6), 4.5mm(7), 4mm(8), 3.5mm(9), 3.25mm(10), 2.75mm(11), 2.5mm(12), 2.25mm(13), 2mm(14), (15), and (16). 15 and 16 are unsized because my tool did not go that small. They are quite wee.The cables are plastic-coated and rather supple. The joins are mostly gradual with a slight hitch showing up when you get into the very small sizes. I could see where this, again, could cause trouble with lace knitting. Where the cable joins the needle there is a slight downturn of the needle for about a half an inch (1.5cm). I found this to been odd and thought it would annoy me, as the needles would have to be oriented just so in my hands so that the downturn would compliment the dropoff of my littlest finger. Not so. The suppleness of the cable coupled with the natural coil of the cable worked together for this not to be a problem. And really, after the initial testing/hyper-critical assessment of these needles, I have not had a second thought about it.The case itself is vinyl and not impressive. And yet, very effective in trying to minimize space while still corralling 11 circular needles. It is only about as big as a stuffed pocketbook with a thoughtful little snap to keep it closed. And the vinyl, as yet, seems to be of the quality that will not crack or rip without the assistance of heat and time.Included on the first page is a plastic tapestry needle (yeah, nickle-free!) and a double ended crochet hook (one end being 3.25mm and the other being 2.25mm).For my two cents worth, definitely worth it at twice the price. No nickle, no torn up hands, feels better than plastic, supple cords. What is there to not like about these needles. I actually got them in the 80cm length also.

Bad choice of needles
I returned this set of needles for two reasons: the tips are super sharp and the sizes were wrong. I have other stainless circulars that are rounded enough not to be painful to use, as these are. The size issue was terrible. The pockets were labeled, but the needles were almost all the same size, mostly US 1 and 2. This maybe was a packaging problem at the factory? I don’t know. In any case, they were totally unacceptable.

Great needles at a great value
These needles are a great buy. I knit hats for charity. These needles are as good as my Chiaogoos. I actually prefer the cable on these for hat knitting. The stitches move smoothly across the cable and joins. You do need to use a needle sizer to find the proper size for American patterns. I found the needle sizes range from 000 through 8. I don't think you need to hesitate to purchase these needles. I have now been using these needles for more than a year. I have knitted close to 50 hats and several baby sweaters using these needles. I still love them and they are holding up perfectly. There isn't a better value!

Sturdy and good value
Finally circular needles with shorter wire. Great for dolls etc

An excellent addition to any knitters work box - buy one in each length!
I first came across these in their largest size and bought them because they were such good value. I did not hesitate to order these when I came across them. The needles are smooth and stitches slip easily across them and the join to the cable is very clean with no snags. But the real joy of these needles is that the cable is metallic wire so there is little chance of these splitting or tearing loose. I see no reason why these might not last a lifetime. These will not suite a modern knitter if you usually knit in Chunky or super chunky but they are perfect for a standard (up to Aran weight yarn) or a traditional knitter, particularly if you favour lace weight projects as they go down to the very fine sizes. On top of all that they come in a neat wallet with a plastic making up needle and a double headed hook for picking up dropped stitches and we all have one of those some time.

Love these needles!!
These needles are one-tenth the price of the expensive brand names, and I can tell no difference in how they are to use. They don't snag, the cord moves easily, and I love the tip shape (not too pointy, doesn't split my yarn). What a fantastic deal!

Good quality, however American sizing, not British
Good selection of circular needles, however they are marked in American sizes and I had to mark them into English sizes, but they are excellent quality and the American sizing needs to be made clear

Quite surprised by these , brilliant for the price
Im actually quite surprised by these cable knitting needles , there really well made , sturdy needles and have a wide range of sizes. You may need a gauge to get your needle sizing right but i think every knitter has one anyway. Great packaging, absolutly love the pouch. Keeps everything neat tidy and in order. Totally changed my knitting needle storage. No more tangle masses of cable , just a neat tidy pouch. Would definatly recommend these.
