Clear car microphone, great for hands-free calls
Great replacement car microphone! Works perfectly with my Kenwood head unit. Clear audio quality for hands-free calls. Easy to install and the 3.5mm connection is reliable. The mic picks up voice clearly without much background noise. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Very useful microphone for your car or truck and the price was not bad.

Seems okay
It worked for my application. Not the best, not the worst. People always not hearing me. Thats been my experience. I also put it in the dash where the mic would go in my jeep. So maybe it would work better on the visor.

Much better sound than one included with my head unit
I used a voice recorder app to troubleshoot poor outgoing sound in a call with my new android head unit. This mic had more than double the output for the same speech volume compared to the clamshell style mic included with the head unit. It also allowed mounting high on the A-pillar, aimed at the driver. Big improvement.

Improvement on headunit MIC
Used this one to replace the android headunit microphone. and what a difference.. before people complained the volume was very low and they could hear noise. As soon as replaced with this one, it operates very similar to the original car mic (not using the car mic with the aftermarket headunit. not worth the trouble to get it working). I got this mic and I can say it has been perfect on 100% of the calls taken from the car.

Not great
The microphone does work but it sounds like your in a canyon. Maybe it's my stereo but I've tried several different locations to fix the issue but nothing helped. I will try another brand.

Mic is awful. Do not recommend.
The reviews about the mic issues are correct. Muffled sound, cuts in and out, picks up road/wind noise with windows closed.
