The Flextend barrier is an extended wear skin barrier that is durable and offers high resistance to erosion. The skin barrier has an integrated floating flange, which allows fingers to be placed under the flange, to help minimize pressure on the abdomen when attaching a pouch.

If you need it, this the best option, I have found.
The two-piece design makes it easy to align over the stoma and also it does not require any pressure on the stomach to attach it to the bag.

3 out of 5!!
I've only had trouble a few times in the last 16 months since having to use these products, but typically have blamed myself for not applying correctly. But when 3 in a row within a 24 hr. period have leaked after me being extra careful makes me think it's the flange not me. 3 out of 5 in this box have failed! I'm ordering another box and will give it another go, hoping it was just a defective box.
