Good enough
consthe cables are too short also there wasn't a lot of information listed for this unit eitherprosfit and finish of the unit seem to be pretty decent.. the 20 pin connector and Molex connectors are actually decent it has a rocker switch for the on off which is nice you're not unplugging in a million timesoverall the unit's not bad it will do what you need it's obviously not a high-end unit so don't expect a lot it is extraordinarily light

Its pretty basic
Had every connection i needed for my setup at this point, i figured with the price i couldn't go wrong, well i was right, it has everything i need, and has some juice left over. and some extra connections for me to add too it!-Update June 24th, 2014 (6 Months Later) -- Still working, although i noticed in HW Monitor by CPUID my +12V was around 8.87, which when i searched i found that HW Monitor Pro can be wrong, so i have to double check my bios to see if it really is that low, hopefully its not, but i will still be buying a better one, not only for better quality, but because this one lacks a bottom fan that my case can support, so i might as well get one that takes advantage of that. Let's see if it will live another couple months.-December 2014 Update-(12 Months Later)-- Still going strong, had a power outage recently and it survived along with everything else in my computer, i did have some corrupted files which led to some system instability but i didn't loose anything since i backup everything religiously. Just made windows really slow and unusable. Other then that its decent and still living, its basically the main exit vent for my pc at the moment and does a very good job at getting the heat out. I haven't checked the voltages in a while but I'm sure they are still in good range. Basically what I'm saying is its been used every day since it arrived in January of 2014. I think its been off for maybe a week for the whole year(i do restart my computer once every 2 days but i keep it on 24/7 because if i need access to it, its gotta be fast and i can't deal with powering on and off. So I've definitely stressed it, also its connected to a XFX Geforce 9600GSO, which requires a 450watt power supply, so its definitely working at its max i would say. It doesn't include a power plug for graphics cards so keep that in mind when buying. Ive also used it with a Geforce GT 620 but that was a much lower power device then my current card, i also realize i went backwards when i got my other card, but both cards were completely free so i wasn't complaining. (:-January 2015- Wanted to note that my PC shut down by itself a couple days ago, wouldn't power back on until i finally disconnected the PSU from the motherboard and all other components. I have no idea why it stopped like that but hopefully its not a sign its dying. It's been exactly a year so i would expect it to last much longer but again its been on everyday for the past year. It may just need a cleaning or something, i can still feel warm air coming out of it so i know the fan is working and all that jazz. Don't think its worth the trouble of taking it apart. Might as well just upgrade to a better brand that has graphic card support built in. If you need something cheap that will perform very well for about a year then get this! I have had not a single issue until this and it might have been caused by that horrible power outage i experienced last month, who knows!

so far so good. i am pleased with current results
I had my doubts considering this is the 2nd power supply I ordered from logisys. The first one was white. Brand new. It smelt brand new but it also had a smell of burning rubber or something. When I connected it to the wall unlike this one it had no sign of working and I was afraid to even put it on my new motherboard. I had it tested. DOA. Burnt out and bad. However by accident I ordered this one and didn't pay attention to the company name. I had my doubts when I realized this when it finally came on time it was shipped in a new egg box. The first one came in a damaged packaging and just looked like someone dropped it. However when I realized it was a new egg box my doubt's were lifted. I plgged it in and turned the switch. The fan span for like a second the moment I did. I plugged it into motherboard and finally realize how to short pins it came on magically. It is near close to basically silent. It comes with a 20-4 motherboard plug. 2 data plugs. Looks like 2 mollex plugs I could be wrong but seems like it idek I have no use for them. And a 4 pin CPU plug with I believe is floppy plug too? Anyways long story short it comes nice and shiny black coating, quiet and so far works great. If there ever is a problem I will update

Used this for low-profile gaming
I was on a tight budget- I mean really tight! I stumbled on this PSU, but I was skeptical because I don't know the brand. It turns out that I made the right choice! Installed it with my PC with a GTX 1650 (75 wattage and no external power) and it works so well! This unit is able to handle all my extreme gaming and video production! No failures. No smoke. No sparks. Just satisfaction! The only downside to this unit is that the cables are sort of short, making it hard for cable management. The fan is kind of loud, but it really doesn't bother me. Just please, PLEASE don't try and use a power-hungry GPU that requires external power for this unit. Just stick with low-profile graphics cards. I recommend this PSU for anyone who is on a budget, or for trying to replace a unit in general. This is a great deal for 480 watts! In other brands you get the same thing (slightly better quality) for like 100 bucks. If your PC doesn't require much power like mine, I say just go for it. Shipping was very snappy, too! Got here in 2 days!I'll keep you guys updated on what happens. I hope I helped you guys!*UPDATE*It's been 3 months, I even added another drive. It's still working great!

Purchased nine of 'em over 14 years.
Since 3/15/2002 I've purchased this ATX power supply 8 times. Last purchase was 3/7/2016, & I bought two. Just in case. That's 9 total, over 14y & + whatever years to come. On average, I paid about $23~. So you get a year +... If lucky, two. You do the math. Positives = The fact that I could find it every time needed, is incredible. It speaks to longevity of the product. Currently it's powering a solid state for the OS, + a TB internal, then another three external drives~ 350M to 1TB. Also powering an average amount of other components. Your mileage may vary. Collectively purchased, it has powered through every OS I've thrown at it, personal PC to server. Negatives = Like every other, the moving parts fail. (FAN) ...the solid state components are fine. Have both an air compressor in the garage to clean it periodically, and the diligence to use it. Then again, I slam it always on 24/7 for power. If it's still available, just spend the $, don't try to replace the fan in it. Sincerely, I don't bother with reviews often. Regards,
