This is a great reel for the price and total quality.
I bought the 30 and 20 spool reels for my son's 6' Ugly Stick and my daughters Ugly Stick Dock Runner. The spools are super smooth and cast very far. If you told me they are double the price, I would believe you based on casting with both rods. They are super light weight balancing both rods perfectly and great beginner reels for the price and quality. They handle very similar to the Abu Garcia Max Pro Spinning Reel which is shocking.

Nice lightweight reel
Very nice reel. The weight balances out my rod almost perfectly (5' U/L Ugly Stick). The only problem I have with the reel is that the bail doesn't easily close when winding down after the cast. I suppose more use will correct this in time, but it can be mildly annoying. Other than that, the max drag matches well if you're using 6lb. line. While I prefer 4 lb. test, the drag is smooth and easily dialed down.

Needed a reel for my new crappie rod. Didn't want to spend a bunch of money. Have been using Abu Garcia reels since I was a youngster. This reel is very smooth and is the perfect size for the fishing I do.

Nice reel but would not purchase again
Reel does not come with fishing line installed !!! Can’t find anyone to install line on it. Never again will I purchase this type of item off line.

Dad things.
I asked my dad what he wanted for his birthday this year, he linked me here. His review is "it was real easy to put on the rod. But I asked for a size too big I guess, so I couldn't use it on the stick I wanted. Everyone said how nice it was. It didn't catch me any fish though."Speaking as a non-fisher, I am almost vertain the reel isn't there to make sure a fish is on your line.

la verdad se siente la calidad de los materiales, me ha dado algunas buena capturas, me ha funcionado bien con linea de 12 lb fluorocarbono (especificamente con la spiderwire). alcanza buenas distancias de lanzamiento.

Great ice reel!
Awesome for an Ice rod, put it on an abu Ice rod, medium, feels amazing! Not affected by cold in the hut, or left out for a tip up. Highly recommend
