Inis Innisfree Eau de Parfum Spray, 1.75 Fluid Ounce

I purchased this in 2011 from amazon without knowing what it smelled like.. My first introduction to the 'original' Innisfree was in Ireland in the late 90's when I purchased it in a shop in Dublin.. This is nowhere near as nice as the original.. It has sat on my dresser for the past 7 years.. and never used but once. I guess it's time to trash it.. The original scent called Innisfree was much more sophisticated. When I inquired about it from this company, I was told that the formula had changed and that 'everyone' liked this better.. All I can say to that is ...yeah right.. If I could find anyone with a bottle of the original scent hanging around, I'd offer them $200 for it.. THAT'S how much better it is than this scent. I was sorely disappointed in the change. I still have the original bottle and there's a wee bit still there.. I put on a tiny spritz this morning before leaving for an appointment and it's 7:30 in the evening here in Houston Texas and after a whole day of in and out of the car, the heat, the stores, etc etc etc.. It's still softly alluring.. A lady in my doctor's office today asked me what it was.. She was disappointed when I told her that she could not buy it any longer though..Unless you actually have worn the original, I suppose you'll be happy with this lesser version since you don't know how great the original was.. This company is owned by a south Korean firm that opened in the year 2000...using the name Innisfree.. I'm not sure how they manage that.. I still have the original bottle and it looks nothing like this.. sad and disappointed.

To me, Innisfree is a soft perfume, if that makes sense. It doesn't have a tang or tartness or over-heavy muskiness. Think beautifully scented baby powder! This Irish perfume was on my Mom's Christmas wish list, and I liked it so much, I'm going to have to order a bottle for myself.From the back of the box: "Innisfree is the essence of Ireland, a celebration of Femininity and nature. This is my very favorite perfume. I purchased the first bottle of it while in Ireland. When it was gone, I was concerned that I would never find it in USA. But, of course I found it on Amazon. Now that I have had to reorder, I am surprised and dismayed at the increase in price. I paid less for 1.7 oz. for this item a couple years ago than I paid for 1.0 oz. this time. Also, what is with the cost of $999 for the 1.7 oz. size? I would never pay that much. Was that a typo, or is that really the price? I'm changing my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars because of the outrageous pricing.

I received this on time. It was packaged well, which is important to me. That determines whether I buy from a seller again. If I receive a product in bad shape, I am not happy. This was packaged well and the fragrance was as described by other reviewers. It is a nice floral scent. I would suggest going easy on it, as it is a strong fragrance when first applied. I prefer the original Innis scent but this is nice for those times when you want to be a little more flowery.

We bought our first bottle when we were touring Ireland few years ago. When the bottle was used up we tried to buy at many stores including Macy's and few other stores with no luck. Then we tried Amazon and was available at a very reasonable price.It arrived as expected. Great perfume and I think every woman would love it if they try it. We get many compliments. We are actually surprised that it is not widely available.Try it once and you most likely will be hooked for a lifetime!

I had never heard of this perfume until my mom put it on her Christmas wish list. I was surprised she requested it because she is not a perfume person. She is very sensitive to scents and most perfumes are just overwhelming to her. But this really is a beautiful, unique scent. It's delicate and light enough to use as an every day perfume and is not overpowering in the least.

This has been my elderly mothers favorite perfume for nearly 20 years. Before Amazon and the Internet it was often impossible to find. Now, when she runs out, she lets me know and it's a cinch to order more.She calls this "one of my pleasures in life",I am so glad I am able to find this without a problem because it's nice to give her "one of her life's pleasures" and she actually smells very nice when she wears it.

The product is really hard to find in stores and the price is starting to go up on other sites. The product at Amazon was an excellent price and it was availble. We received it in a very short time. Excellent work and keep it up. We intend to use Amazon.com and Amozon.uk a lot more because you have items we like and us.Thank you so much. You have made my wife very happy that she can still get her favorite perfume.
