I settled on this lamp after looking at several others. When I first received it, the setup and build looked a tad cheap. However, one I got it all together, it was actually very sturdy and looked really nice. My wife even wokeup from a nap as I was testing it and said it looks good. So that makes it endorsed as a solid purchase!

This lamp is AT BEST something I would hesitantly spend maybe $20 on. I was very disappointed. The bolt on the pole that screws onto the base was bent. No matter what I did, the whole lamp stood crooked, that is, after fighting like mad to screw the thing on with a crooked pole and the flimsy excuse for a socket that was included. But that is not all! After assembling the lamp shade (with the easily bendable, flimsy clips on the shade), I screwed it on to the lamp and the shade was also crooked. After getting a closer look, I noticed that the piece it mounts to was molded at a slant. I really wanted this to work out, but I just could not win. I returned it immediately. I cannot believe the price being charged for this! I drastically overpaid for an eyesore... Sadly

I got this for my daughters new apartment. For some reason, her bedroom doesn't have an overhead light, so we've gotten a bunch of lamps to lighten it up. She really likes the clean lines and stylish look of the lamp. It's so nice that it has 2 different lampshades to choose from for more versatility. She went with the one that's a linen type of color, because it made the lamp look more modern. It's the perfect height to put right next to her night stand. And the length of the cord makes it easy to put it wherever you want and not have to worry about being super close to an outlet. The lightbulb that came with it was a little too dim for how large her room is. She swapped it out for a brighter bulb and now it lights up her room wonderfully. It was extremely easy to put together. It maybe took her 10 minutes. It's alot sturdier than expected. The weighted base keeps is nicely planted, so you don't have to worry about it tipping over. Her absolute favorite part of the lamp is the foot switch. It makes it so easy to turn off and on, which is handy when she's running late or is too lazy to get out of bed. LOL!! She's thrilled with this lamp and how it looks in her apartment. I'm thrilled because I was able to get her a higher quality lamp that didn't break the bank.

I like this floor lamp for it’s classic shape and minimalist. Perfect for our interior. I think it would work with modern minimal or glamour design aesthetic. Very high quality, sturdy and stable. I love that this provides the right amount of light next to a cozy chair. I am currently using a 60 watt bulb. Light is absolutely not a problem with this lamp.

I really like the shape and that it came with two lamp shade options. I was upset when I opened it and the instructions said you have to paste the lampshade together. I was looking for glue then realized that it is Velcro. So all you have to do is clip it onto the round hoops and Velcro it. So that was fine. I was disappointed that the cream colored lamp shade didn’t have silver trim at the top and bottom as I thought was pictured. It’s like something of that color with cream fabric over it. Looks fine but wasn’t what I thought I was getting. Also it has a blasted floor switch. If that was in the description I missed it. I hate that because the cord has to show which looks so tacky. I rated it high because it’s sturdy and for the price it makes sense. If I had paid more I would have been upset. All in all, the shape is nice and it works for what I had intended.

I was impressed with the way this lamp went together very easily. At first I was surpised by the DIY lampshade which comes rolled up. However it fit just fine onto the hoops provided for it, and in no time I had a nice round mid-century lampshade. I chose the linen color but it also comes with a white shade that stays rolled up until you want it. The linen shows the fabric when lit up - very authentic mid-century. It matches some of my other shade which are original. I like the offset foot of the lamp - makes it easier to fit into a narrow space with the lamp close to the wall - that's why I chose it. The body of the lamp is thin so if you want a heavier looking lamp this isn't it. But the foot itself is plenty heavy to avoid tipping. Very nice for the price. Even comes with a bulb!

This lamp is great! It was super easy to put together and fits into a tight spot while still allowing access to the foot switch. I love the tilted shade feature which is helpful to spotlight areas that need some direct light. I've actually shone this directly inside my game/dvd closet when trying to find a beloved movie and I didn't even need to reposition the lamp, just swiveled the shade and found the movie straight away!Additionally, I wanted to add that this lamp replaced an LED arched lamp purchased from Amazon (and replaced while under warranty) that just died again. LED lamps (the kind with built in LED bulbs) just aren't where they need to be yet as far as technological advances go. As much as I loved that lamp, this lamp is sure to last longer than a couple of years. I know when this LED bulb no longer works, I can just replace it with another LED bulb. Great purchase! Would definitely recommend.

It comes with a US plug!! No mention of this for international buyers. It is dual voltage but says 110-210V and we are 220-240v so not even sure if it is safe. Trying to get information from manufacturers and Amazon.... will update.The lamp is quite sturdy but the shade was poorly finished.
