I had been looking for an organic sunscreen that is safe for the environment for some time. The problem I kept finding was that the organic products weren't as strong as the regular chemical ones. This product really packed the protection punch. Right away it casts a protective layer that you really have to rub in unless you want to look like a geisha. It lasted all day at the beach and I really felt protective from the hot sun in Hawaii. Since Hawaii will ban chemical sunscreen from next year, this is the perfect environmentally friendly product I've been looking for. the only con is that it comes out of the bottle a little runny, so I wasted some of it. Just squeeze it out softly and it should be good. Will be using this again this weekend at the beach, thanks!

I like the ingredients but this is not a sun screen I’d use for my face. It’s a bit thick and leaves a slight white tint, but it’s hard to avoid that with zinc sun screens. It does the job and I’ll use it for sure but not sure why they can’t make a mineral sunscreen with zinc that is more moisturizing. But maybe that is the way it is. Sitting on top of this skin may protect it better from sunburn (?).

I've been looking for quality sunscreen and tried this reef-safe one after a friend's recommendation. Turns out this is just the sunscreen I've always been looking for!This Mineral Sunscreen is the best texture sunscreen that I have ever used and it rubs really well against the skin. I can sweat, work out, go to the pool and it always feels great. Truly a great recommendation for vacation or in the sun.Another thing I really love is the smell! It's natural vanilla that is non-overbearing in a way that other sunscreens fail to be.Do a little bit of research - I would definitely recommend getting this sunscreen both for the environment and for yourself!

Yes, it's a physical sunscreen and went on white. But after 15 minutes, the whiteness disappeared. It works, but at a price. I did not get sunburned when I applied it only once. But I got a light bumpy rash on my hands and face. It took several days for the rash to disappear. 5 stars for preventing sunburn, 1 star for skin sensitivity. So I gave it an average rating of 3 stars. I really wanted to love this sunscreen, but I'm not going to use it again. It went into the garbage.

The main and frightening concern is that this burned my skin. It's also weirdly a thin and chunky liquid, and dried my skin out.

I seriously love this sunscreen so much! It is much bigger than other face sunscreens, and the fact that it's still cheap (plus donates a dollar to elephant sanctuaries) is really unbelievable. I have tan skin, and this is able to blend in with my fingers on my face. There's a faint vanilla smell that I love and isn't overpowering at all like other sunscreens. It's also hard to find SPF 50 face sunscreen, so suffice to say, I'm recommending this to all my friends and family! Also, it's cruelty-free which is something I've been sticking to. Go buy it now!!!Tip- To avoid the white cast, you have to dab your skin. Don't rub!

I was disappointed in this product. Everyone in my party used it and received spotty sunburns.

So I’ve tried a few “reef-safe” products from local stores and Amazon, but if you look at the ingredients list, this one is the only one that is genuinely reef-safe. It doesn’t contain Oxybenzone, Octinoxate, Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octisalate or Octocrylene. A lot of this stuff isn’t just bad for reefs, but bad for you too. Avobenzone and octinoxate are known to lower testosterone and deregulate hormones.If you’re doing research on the best, safest, smoothest sun screen at a very reasonable price point - just stop it now. This is it!
