Happy To Have "Finally" Found This!
Very happy to have found this battery. Had been looking for one like this for some time - not easy to find in my opinion - neded it for my large Rayovac Lantern Beam Flashlight. It works again! :) Good quality battery.

Not the best packaging
When I opened the box, the top of the battery had partially separated from the body. I just snapped the top back on and was good to go. I'm not sure if the blame should be on Amazon for poor packaging or Interstate for making a battery that comes apart too easy. Anyway, the battery works fine in the lantern and that's all that matters.

These Batteries are a Crapshoot
No shelf life whatsoever and completely dead after six months. I paid premium price for them and hopefully I can get my money back. I just installed them and they had no energy whatsoever!

Great purchase!
I ordered these to replace some very old batteries in a very old Coleman lantern for my 93 year old Mother. I was not even sure I would be able to find replacement parts, but, to my surprise, I found the fluorescent bulbs and batteries through Amazon, both at a very reasonable price. My Mother is very happy with the cost and the results. Hopefully, the batteries and bulbs will be as long lasting as the originals.

BATTERY IS NOT FUNCTIONAL - LOW VOLTAGE- LOOSE MATERIAL INSIDE
I received this 6V lantern battery in an Amazon bag. The battery had no protective caps on the terminals. That caught my attention. There was also no plastic wrap over the top of the battery. When I removed my old battery from my lantern it was heavier in weight the the new Interstate battery. I installed in my lantern and it produced less light then my old worn out battery. So next came the volt meter. the new battery was 6 volts with no load. With a load it dropped the 3.88 volts. My old battery was 4.6 volts with now load and dropped to 3.92 volts under load.

Costs more than the flashlight
Despite the battery costing more than buying a whole new flashlight and battery. I choose to replace the battery. The flashlight has come on handy to look under beds and couches.
