Numrich Marlin 49 Glenfield 75C Front Sight Screw

These screws match the thread pitch of the three holes in the top of the receiver for mounting a ruger scope base in the Rueger Mark I target model. Previous owner lost two of the screws and ruger no longer makes them. But they were able to provide me the thread pitch and the length matched close enough. Scope base restored.

It works. A bit longer than the original but it worked. It's getting hard to find direct replacement parts for the older guns , so sometimes a little modification might be in order. But for the price it shouldn't need to be modified. Hence 3 stars.

Fitted perfectly on my marlin model 60. I lost the screw in the desert. I never bothered to tighten the screw on the front sight of the rifle because it really doesn't have much recoil but I've been shooting the rifle since 1983. It was bound to get loose.

Perfect match for my early model Marlin 336 30-30 front sight. Wife is still upset for me spending so much for just a screw, but I'm tickled pink to have a perfect match screw to the original that fell out.

the screw will fit a 1988 Merlin model 60. it helped because i needed a new front sight for my rifle.
