Front speakers has too much distortion.

Was easy to install perfect

They sound like a dry rot 1980s car speaker. The treble is fantastic. But there’s nothing else. No Mid bass and no bass period. So I thought maybe it’s because I had them on just my head unit for power, so I put them on my 45 watt 4 channel amp. They sounded a little better but still no mid bass or bass, even worse the rear speakers only lasted 2 months. Amp gain was adjusted properly, no distortion, all the crossovers adjusted properly, still somehow blew them. Even if the amp was full tilt blasting distorted signal there’s no way 45 watts divided by 4, could possibly be enough to blow these. For a speaker with the word alpine on it, they don’t even compete with something like boss. Pretty sad.

Excellent product

As others have said they aren’t the best quality. Front speakers distort to easily and one sounds like it’s blown. Ok for replacing factory speakers that are blown like I did, but wish I would have spent a little more money in something nicer.

They sound ok .. meant to replace OEM speakers. Being made from basic untreated cardboard they'll last about a year .... same as OEM junk.... so it's probably OK for a car you're selling... But for $10 more older 1751 are available (they look white) .. which lasted me almost 10 years and sound like new.

These are not worth purchasing, even on a budget. I have seen better speakers at Walmart in the same price point
