Perfect For Online Game Streaming
I got this for my cousin and my self as we started to stream games and wanted to present out live steam online. This was perfect capture card for us, and I’m using an LG wide monitor which believe it or not was really on point. I was so scared that this would not work as well, because the monitor would be too powerful, however the my card worked perfectly fine and honestly the stream as a hit.Really impressed with the performance on the card, I’m using a MAC OSX and works perfectly fine. Also getting zoom to work was flawless and easy to setup, sound works great and picture quality displays to 1080 with no problem. What really got my attention was that I was on a live steam for 1.5 hours and the device just did not get hot. That was pretty awesome not gonna lie.

Great for streaming from a Nintendo Switch
Over the past few weeks I’ve been building a collection of items to use for streaming from my Nintendo switch, and this was the final puzzle piece that puts it all together. It’s very easy to use and registers as a video input on both discord (which I was really interested in) as well as with OBS for streaming to twitch. The audio and video are clear and the video was 60fps at 1080p, perfectly matching the speed of my switch output. I’ve been streaming pretty often with it right since I got it and other than a few audio adjustments I’ve had literally zero issues. This is an amazing alternative to more expensive capture cards if you’re ok without having dedicated software for your device. Other than a few minor audio adjustments I made with a noise loop isolator and a splitter from my switch so I could hear audio, this thing has been amazing in enabling me to finally show my friends and followers Smash Bros and Mario 3D All Stars.

This is a USB 2.0 device that is advertised Falsely.
Pros:-Does allow 4k60 passthrough-Does allow 1080p60 capture-Does work on linux-Picture quality is actually very goodCon:-This uses a USB 2.0 connection max speed, despite being advertised as USB 3.0. Here is proof from linux USB device output:Speed notes:12M = 12MBit/s = USB1480M = 480MBit/s = USB25000M = 5000MBit/s = USB3.0 aka USB3.1 gen. 110000M = 10000MBit/s = USB3.1 gen. 2lsusb device listing:Bus 003 Device 015: ID 534d:2109 MacroSilicon USB Videodevice vendor validation:# cd /sys/devices# find -name idVendor -print -exec cat {} \; | grep -B 1 534d./pci0000:00/0000:00:01.2/0000:02:00.0/0000:03:08.0/0000:0a:00.3/usb3/3-5/idVendor534dDevice maximum speed:# cat ./pci0000:00/0000:00:01.2/0000:02:00.0/0000:03:08.0/0000:0a:00.3/usb3/3-5/speed480This is plugged into a USB 3.2 slot directly on my motherboardWhile it is a good device, it is very bad to advertise it falsely. USB 3.0 is very necessary for low latency and higher data bandwidth.

So tiny I can put it in my shirt pocket
Easy to carry around when I shoot the soccer games. It works with OBS which is great since it's open source. Video quality is good, and it was a snap to set up. It also worked on the Macbook without any issue, Zoom also picked it up without any configuration. Metal body and feels sturdy! I'm happy with this purchase so far.

I can finally stream! Its really amazing for its price alone! And it comes with a cute blue usb that works for me, although everything has been smoothly just make sure before you connect your console it with your computer/laptop read the Instructions. And thats it!

Should include simple recording software.
They should include some simple software to record the output from the card. It doesn't need to have any features other than to record the output, so the cost in money and resources to produce the software would be minimal. The hardware is great!
