LORAC PRO Palette Eyeshadow Kit

I've been wearing shadows from the Lorac MegaPro 3 to work all year so I already knew I was a fan of the Lorac formula. I did not yet have this particular palette, though. The colors appealed to me because they are the sorts of colors I know I would actually wear -- plenty of lighter shades for highlights and mostly neutrals/earth tones. Those facts made this a pretty risk-free purchase. (For a pop of color, I just put on some fun eyeliner.) Since I tend to go more dramatic with lip colors, it is nice to have eyeshadows like this to balance out the look (don't want to go too bold with BOTH types of cosmetic products as I'm quite pale and would look rather silly with dramatic eyes AND lips).I have very oily eyelids so I always use primer. Lately it has been Urban Decay Primer Potion. So every time I've worn shadows from this palette, it has been over UDPP. And I have to say, these shadows last all day and look just as nice at the end of the day as at the beginning. So that is great. I find the pigmentation good. (As I mentioned earlier, I am quite pale, so it is hard for eyeshadows to have bad pigmentation on me. Plus, I'm sure the primer helps with that.) I also find that these blend well. Plus, they have little to no fallout. (I am just applying with any old brush. I have Morphe, e.l.f., and a bunch of no-name brushes as well. This does not come with a brush but I don't really care. One single brush is not enough for me anyway -- I use AT LEAST three every time I apply eyeshadow, sometimes four.)I'll admit, I don't use the four shadows on the right-hand side of the palette much. I have a fear about dark colors, and I tend not to use eyeshadow as liner. But I'm not going to decrease my rating for that. Pretty much every single eyeshadow palette ever has a few dark colors I will never use. (Although, the gray "slate" can work as an accent in some situations.) I also don't use this for my brows because I pretty much never do my brows. But if you are into that, there are a variety of shades that will work for that, especially the matte shades in the top row. I have also limited myself to dry application thus far. (I find that wet application involves more work than I generally have time for when I am getting ready in the morning.)These shadows do not cause irritation (not even the shimmery colors), at least for me. I have sensitive eyes and wear contact lenses and I am able to wear these all day without issues. They come off with makeup remover wipes (various brands) or dual phase liquid eye makeup remover.

This palette is a must-buy for all makeup lovers. Those new to makeup/eyeshadow would benefit but must keep in mind that unless you apply with fingers you will have to have your own brush/applicator. I have tonnes of brushes and can tell you that any type works beautifully. IE: Natural, synthetic, large, compact, fluffy, doesn't matter. That said you do have to be careful with the fluffy brushes since they tend to pick up the most product. If you're used to MAC shadows I would say that these are softer and more intense than the Matte2 and the Veluxe Pearls so be careful - start with a dab then add as needed.I love this palette particularly for the ease of use. If you're careful you can do one sweep of transition color, one sweep of lid colour, simply place your outer v colour, then dab your inner highlight. Blending is hardly necessary! It's awesome but I can see why some people would have trouble with it if they are used to less pigmented or less soft shadows. I can see this becoming a mess rather quickly.That said if you're in a rush and can stay your hand, you can do no better than this palette.The primer included is ok - I don't consider it any better or worse than E.L.F. or Urban Decay's Primer Potion. The shadows don't need it unless you're wearing them for more than 10 hours anyway. I have slightly oily lids, btw.I wish LORAC was sold in Australia but it would probably be more expensive than Amazon if it was! I asked LORAC directly who I could buy from and they suggested Amazon. Amazon was quick, the tracking site kept me well informed and it was well packed.

I lusted after this palette for quite awhile and it's sold out in EVERY store anywhere near me. I was so happy when this came. The colors are all pretty pigmented, the lighter shades show up a bit lighter. I see a lot of people comparing this to the Urban Decay Naked series palettes and I must say these are easier to pick up on a brush and transfer onto your lids. The gold in this palette, vs the gold in the naked 1, is much more pigmented and soft. Gorgeous color payoff on that gold, probably the best gold eyeshadow I have ever seen. I bought it because I love, and can see myself using, most of these colors, if not all of them. I will say that if you're new to makeup, the colors are very pigmented and you should start with something that is easier to work with, ie. this is not for everybody.I love the palette and how sleek it is. There are two small things that I dislike: one being the material of the actual palette. After seeing this online for a long time, I figured it would have a papery feel. The palette actually has a rubberized feel and I'm not too fond of it. I can tell it will look dirty in no time. Also, the box says 8 shimmer, and 8 matte shades, however the "white" shade is not matte, it's shimmery. That makes 7 matte, 9 shimmer shades, which doesn't bother me one bit, I actually prefer it that way, but some people might be angry. I didn't think it was enough to give it 4 vs 5 stars since I still love LOVE this palette.

Me encantan las paletas de sombras, la mayoría de las que tengo son colourpop, tarte, too faced, the balm y Anastasia Beverly Hills entre otras "high end" pero esta de Lorac es de las mejores. Me encantó por lo pigmentada y cremosa que está, los mates no son nada polvosos, y se difuminan prácticamente solitos en segundos, los brillantes tienden a soltar moronitas en la cara a menos que los apliques con el dedo o con brocha húmeda, yo las aplico normal con la brocha seca y después me sacudo las moronas muy fácilmente. Podría decirse que la paleta es neutral pero tirando a fría para quienes no les gusten los tonos cálidos. Solo tener en cuenta que los colores brillantes (el renglón de abajo) no son muy brillantes ni metálicos sino más bien satinados.Esta paleta es ideal para escuela, trabajo y para smokey eyes, si la hubiera comprado hace años tal vez me hubiera ahorrado mucho dinero experimentado con otras paletas más caras y de menor calidad que está de Lorac.

If you think to buy this palette, then you definitely should! I receive today my palette and I can say that is 200% genuie and original one! Is very hard to find Lorac genuie in Uk or Ireland , but this is real think! Very happy with the purchase! Thank youuu!!!

Lorac gibt es nicht in Deutschland zu kaufen weder bei Douglas noch bei Sephora, daher ist man gezwungen Amazon oder Ebay zu nutzen. Leider habe ich schon viele Plagiate erwischt was diese Classic Palette angeht :-(Mein Versuch es über Amazon zu probieren war in Ordnung. Die Lieferung hat nicht lange gedauert? Wahrscheinlich gab es ein paar Paletten in einem europäischen Lager von Amazon. Ob diese Palette 100 % Original weiß ich nicht, meine erste Palette hat viel mehr Farbe abgegeben. Ich liebe die Farbkombination der Palette. Es gibt irgendwie keine vergleichbare Lorac Palette, daher werde ich dabei bleiben. Empfehlenswert ist dies aber direkt in den USA in einem Geschäft zu kaufen.

Excellente palette ! Je suis ravie de son utilisation. Les fards sont hyper pigmentés avec une poudre crémeuse qui permet un estompage très bien réalisé...je recommande à 2000%...meme avis sur le vendeur envoi rapide après paiement très bien emballé pas de frais de douane .
