This helped ALOT. I used copious amounts in each section of my hair and around my crown. The first time I only used vaseline and it burned alot. When I used the Scalp Protector and Vaseline, I was able to apply the relaxer with out any tingling or burning. However, when I started to wash it out, I did feel some minor discomfort when the water hit my scalp. Still recommend.

The base that I usually used was hard to find in the past few months. I tried this one as an alternative. It is quite effective. It does an ok job. I am using a base that is a lot more effective because it allows your scalp to stand the relaxer longer. As an alternative, this one will do.

I put s curl texturizer in my hair bc another YouTuber had mentioned this. The first thing I love about it is that it has an applicator. The substance is very thick so you might need to make a bigger hole or squeeze harder but I put this all over my scalp, neck, forehead, and my ears and I was so surprised, being as sensitive as I am, that I did not burn whatsoever. I could have left it on for probably another hour and been fine. This is wonderful and I definitely will purchase again. I have enough to last me for a long time and many more touch-ups.

I love this stuff; however, it's hard to get it out. I normally have to take the cap off. I'll probably try cutting the tip to make it a little wider.

This is the best basting product to use for a sensitive scalp before you get a relaxer. It has menthol that keeps your scalp cool during the procedure.

This product is an absolute game changer for my relaxing process. I have a Very Sensitive Scalp and can barely keep the relaxes on before needing to rinse them out. I used this product for the first time last week. I was able to leave the product on for the recommended time. I did not have any discomfort or burning.
