ALEX Toys My Playhouse Theater

Really a nice product. Hours of fun await! I would give it 5 stars but I am a little nervous that it could bend/teeter over with my 3 active boys. The construction is pretty good but not perfect. My boys love it and it is bigger than I thought it would be .They use it as a fort and a puppet show theater. Overall very pleased.

I am over all happy although we are missing a flat head screw for the front attachment. It is lightweight and fairly easy to assemble.

This is really a poor quality product not worth the price. It lasted approximately 2 weeks before the fabric started to tear and another 2 weeks before the frame broke on the front from kids leaning on the shelf. The screws completely stripped the wood leaving it completely unusable. I contacted the company and sent them photos but they never responded to my complaint. Melissa & Doug, however, have amazing customer service and their puppet theater is far more durable and cheaper to boot. Whatever you do, don't buy this product.

Somehow deceiving in the photo, this playhouse is pretty darn big. I bought puppets for it but my kids have mostly just been playing in it and hiding (but having lots of fun). Easy to assemble, the only tool you need is a screwdriver. I did it by myself in about 1/2 hour.

For $[...] I expected much better quality. The thing fell apart after just over a year.

Very well made and versatile! My 4 year old grandson loves it!

I purchased this at an Amazon return/palette store, and it was 99% intact (unassembled and put back in the box). I had everything, and nothing was torn. That was a year ago, and I have only needed to wood glue one of the screws [from the front shelf] back on. When kids are playing, it requires a bit of monitoring because it's flimsy in spots, but with respect, this theater is really fun and perfect for that 'authentic' look. It's big in the room, but we've gotten used to it.

What an excellent addition to our library's children's room! The theater looks great and provides a wonderful avenue for kids to explore their imagination and creativity.
