Simple simple simple
I bet you are reading all the reviews on all of products like this trying to determine which one to go with. Save your money and just buy this converter and invest the money you saved and get good software.I tested it out and Sony Vegas works on watching back video but wont copy.Corel Video Studio works very good and I highly recommend it.Its really as simple as plugging this converter into your PC and hooking the other end up to whatever device your trying to copy from. Then install the software of your choice and that's it. I spent a few hours here on amazon and almost pulled the trigger on the more expensive ones but decided against it because those were basically this with less than ideal software for more money. This device however does come with a CD with software but I opted to use my own software. All in all I highly recommend this.

Good Service in Delivering, but took 3 days from when I ordered it until it was shipped, It works. time to go HAHAHA. YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS LIST ON THIS WEBPAGE Install the driver first, check your device manager to make sure you installed the drive. then download Debut video capture, connect to your composite video device and WTF it works hahaha

Slightly significant delay, but its useable for connecting old devices to a PC
It is registered as a webcam for computers, so its compatible with most of everything you can find. The disc does have software that displays webcam footage, which is good if you have none.

Works well in Windows 7, 64 Bit with one or two interesting observations
This product works well for me in Windows 7, 64 bit. One issue I observed was when I used the USB extension cable it came with, it developed a low frequency hum. Initially, I thought the hum was 60 Hz, but it shifted occasionally, so I assume it is not due to 60 Hz pickup. When I removed the cable, the hum disappeared. I did use a powered USB port on the front of the computer, so the device did have sufficient power. Interestingly, when I had my computer video camera plugged in, the device would select that as the source. I had to unplug the USB video camera to get the device to use the composite video from my DVD player.
